I have read a lot lately about people taking Metformin even though they are not diabetic/pre-diabetic for health/anti-aging reasons. As I'm sure you are all aware, it is purported to have beneficial effects similar to calorie restriction as well as the many other health claims. It is also cited...
i did try it for a few months before starting on Test cyp (I used Arimidex). Although my TT rose into the lower part of the reference range i felt no difference at first and then started to feel worse. I did not know a lot about TRT or have my current MD at that point and so didn't have tests...
As mentioned in previous replies you would be much better off to split your weekly Test Cyp dosage into two injections, every 3.5 days. Also 200 mg is about the top end for TRT and most recommend that you start low and increase as needed. 100mg/week is a much more common starting point.
I am in Canada and have used Pregnyl in the past. It came in a 10,000 IU vial with 10ml of what I believe was Bacteriostatic water.

I just finished reading a book called; "Habits of a Happy Brain" by Loretta Graziano Breuning, PHD.
I found it very interesting and insightful. I can't remember where it was recommended to me (maybe on this forum and if so I apologize for the redundancy).
It discusses what she calls the "Happy...
If it was me, and I wasn't feeling any negative sides from high E2, I would wait until I stabilized on the new lower T dosage and then decide if an AI is needed. Just my 2 cents.
That amount of HCG isn't much different from what many of us take as a SUPPLEMENT to TRT. Your 400IU EOD = 1400IU/week and 500IU E3D= 1166IU/wk. I take 500IU E3.5D = 1000IU/week ON TOP of 80MG Test Cyp 2 x/week (for a total of 160MG/week).
I have never done MCG mono-therapy but always thought...
I just left a review. Just for reference it did not show any reviews and said there were not enough reviews to give an average rating.... So at least it's not showing reviews yet.

Thanks CC. I live in Ancaster where the clinic is and had not found them during my searches? I believe the bio-identical term means a lot more when referring to women's HRT. The Women's Health Initiative study used synthetic progesterone (Progestin) and horse estrogens in their "replacement" and...
Sean the only information I have is for the doctor I see in Ontario which is a 4 hour flight from Alberta. She has no affiliates she works with. Luckily it sounds like Coastwatcher has some information. I was only trying to reassure that i experienced much less reluctance in Canada than many...
I am in Ontario and I have a great PCP. He is open-minded and doesn't pretend to know everything. When I approached him with concern over my T levels, he said he wasn't really knowledgeable in that area so "lets do blood work and if you are low I will refer you to someone better equipped to...
Nelson I started using the app today and have a couple quick observations;
it might be helpful to have either the Canadian provinces listed or even just Canada as an option. It may give insight as to how the lack of a sensitive E2 test affects results.
It also might be of benefit to list SQ or...

I have watched Nelson's video on combining Test and HCG in one syringe. I am interested to know whether it is acceptable to pre-load a weeks worth of syringes with both medications and store them in the fridge for quick use?
Thanks for the reply CW. I have so far only booked the special from Discounted Labs that was recently offered here ($139) I was just trying to get a sensitive E2 but am now glad it also has Free T as well.
In your opinion should I be sceptical of the accuracy of all results with LL? Or is this a...
I just received blood work results from Life Labs showing the range for free T has changed dramatically.
it shows the range as 179 - 475 pmol/l my result is 591
previous results had @ 25 - 80 pmol/l my result was 79
it seems odd the the range would change like that? I triple checked and the...
MikeXL, I have the same issue and am hoping to get some feedback here also. It seems that most comments regarding DHT here are for the opposite problem so I have found little info on this topic. I feel no DHT related issues so I have not really addressed it. I am not willing to take Finesteride...
I hate working out around others also, as well as having to go out to do it. I gradually built a home gym by starting with a set of Bowflex Selectech Dumbbells. They adjust between 10 and 90 lbs by turning a dial. There is also a smaller set up to 50 lbs ( I think). There are other brands also...
I realize I am only a Junior Member and relatively new here and I definitely don't want to sound like an a** or alienate anyone but... don't we bear enough scrutiny from people/organizations who don't see our efforts in TRT as valid and who view us in the same light as people taking supra...
Thanks CW! I do understand the trough is what we are looking for but I am just speculating that the trough MIGHT be at some point after an injection ....as the last inject is still bottoming out but before the new injection would register on blood work?
I am curious as to how quickly an new injection would show up on blood work? I've always read to get blood drawn right before the next injection. For reference I follow a 2x/week protocol (every 3.5 days). From everything I've read, it seems, blood levels peak 48 - 72 hrs after injection which...
I think it looks fantastic! Sign me up. I would certainly pay $50 to $100 for this. Above that cost I would still consider it but wouldn't hesitate if it was in the range I mentioned. Hopefully some doctors will take advantage of the opportunity as well. You may even want to consider letting...
And a related question..... If a persons E2 tends to crash when on any amount of Arimidex, as is this case for me, does taking melatonin create a risk of low E2? I take Melatonin on an as needed basis for sleep....so if I was taking that before bloodwork could it show an atypical low E2 value...
i have used an insulin cooler travel pack (link below - hope that is ok here?) for travelling and it is pretty good for shorter time frames but usually warms up after longer travel times. The "cold pack" in the cooler is a sealed liquid vial holder but it exceeds the carry-on liquid volume so I...
Occasionally I will find a new, unopened Nipro 3ml syringe in my box that looks a bit damp where the plunger meets the injection end of the syringe. I just found one that appears to have a small amount of thick, clear liquid/gel that you can see stitching from the plunger to the syringe when...
MJ23,
I'm sure everything looks bleak at the moment but I think that most of us on TRT had our ups and downs and disappointments while trying to dial in our protocols to what works best for us as individuals. The best thing I did was educate myself about TRT by reading as much as possible and...
