No mention of your levels? What do you bloods tell you? Are you running superphysiological levels of T? That will cause anxiety in the long term... In my case, lowering my dose to physiological levels is my key... if I run too hot I will get real anxious (palpitations and all...). But naturally...
I am 65, and they do grow back a little and hang better if that makes sense... I see the difference as I cycle the HCG. When they start going back up, especially the right one (too much details! ... lol) I go back on HCG and it starts hanging with his brother again which is way more comfortable...
Hahaha... we should have a section called <Ball Talk> ...
It is more like a slight pinch... but it is quite tolerable, you just know something is happening down there... my right test has a tendency to go back up when atrophied and on hcg it goes back down in its place if that makes any...
I have been doing subcutaneous injections for 5 years with great results... No botched injections ever... Subq is the way to go in my book or at least shallow muscular with 27 to 30 ga needles...
Stick to it, it gets better with time... try to add exercise to your TRT and it works miracles...
I don't notice much on the libido front, but balls start growing back in the first week... will get some small ball pain, not much but you can feel something is going on in there. I lower my dose of T when on HCG, I do 500iu twice a week. I actually cycle HCG, I stop it as soon as the honeymoon...
Darn, this was intense. I am part of the lucky ones that can take 5mg on demand and it works verry well... Usually I just end up with a little headache, stuffy nose and heartburn... (yes all this on 5mg, I guess I am quite sensitive to the stuff...). But yesterday, oh boy, the leg pain! Took the...
80mg + HCG for a while, but I am off HCG now as it seems that the benefits of it wear off over time... and the link with alzheimer.... so I am now cruising on T alone...
Note that when on HCG, I reduced my T to 70mg per week as the HCG topped up the rest, it really adds to the testosterone...
You would be better served with a stimulant... Tell your doc you have ADHD and get som adderall... Short term T boost will be very subtle, I don't think it will do what you think it will... and it screws up with your hormones... Occasional amphetamine will be much more efficient... Just my 2...
I find it is very well written. I am in the more techincal section where he goes into some history and delivers sort of a biography.... I would say this would be an excellent first book on longevity for someone discovering the field. I am enjoying the review of all the field... understaning that...
The only time I had issues with subq is when I was not shooting it deep enough... I was going in at an angle... and got all sorts of issues, redness, itch, bumps... I don't have any of those issues when I go straight in (90deg to the skin) and use a 5/8 27g needle... It goes into subcutaneous...
It is not a question of dose but a question of serum values I guess... the question is why do I get the serum value of T and free T at 80mg/week than another guy getting the same values on 200mg/week... If dosage was the only consideration, I would be climbing on walls... ask me how I know! My...
I just figured out I am homozygot for the MTHFR gene... well, one of them anyway... Never tested my homocysteine, wish I was in the US so I could use your services... Part of the things I am going to do next time I draw blood...
I have since switched to methylated B vitamins... especially folate.
I am close to your boat... I do fine on 70mg but run 80mg ... at 80mg I have high free T and high T... I don't know why some of us are really sensitive to T, low metabolizers I guess... we keep it in our systems for a long time. I do 40mg 2x Week...
Bought the audio book, starting to listen now... I expect it's going to be pretty much a recap of his podcasts of which I am a member... He likes statins and pcsk9 inhibitors a lot so I expect to get a lot of heart health in there... Will post back...
At your age I would go back to basics...
Sleep... You sleeping? Sleep apnea? Overweight?
Exercise... Start pumping iron...
Food... Get your diet in order...
Many things you can do at your age. Remember TRT is a life long commitment. Starting in your 20s is signing up for a long dependence...
Good point, same here.... low shbg now, was high 5 years ago when I started.
On 80mg week in 2 injections (2x 40mg to be clear) and my free T is always over range... I don't feel over stimulated, but on 100mg a week I do... I was not always this sensitive... I guess there is an acquired...
I have stopped HCG completely... Although I see some slight mood benefits, I don't think it's worth the risk long term with TRT... I sure would like my balls back though... but hey, I would rather be a small balled 80 year old than a big balled 80 year old nut... lol
Hopefully we will learn...
You guys are funny... Now I have been subq for all of the 4 years of my TRT... and had nothing but high T/free T issues ... and no high E2 ...lol
Maybe I am a hyper responder, but I am now on 80mg/week and my free T is just above high range, my T hovers around 900 ... now tell me subq does not...
Man, Mirapex and Cabers in general are awful drugs to play with no? The sides are real awful...
The idea of taking a Parkinson drug for libido just does not compute for me...
4 years here no issues, HCT normal and my lipids are no worse than before TRT... It gave me my life back! I have no regrets. I am on Enanthate as here in Canada it's more common to be on Delatestryl. I inject twice a week 80mg total (40mg x 2) per week. I started way higher than that though, and...
Well, I must say that I see no drowsiness at all from Melatonin, I could take it any time and would not make me sleepy... so with or without not much difference sleepwise. I wake up every 3 hours anyway, with or without... and go back to sleep easily. Only thing sleep related I notice is with...
I guess was more TRT than melatonin for my libido... I have since adjusted my T lower and have better libido... Actually, my libido is great only in a very narrow range of T ... took me a while to find it and still refining it.
I take natural factors ... I think I am going to go up to 5mg...
Been taking melatonin for a few years, mostly for anti-aging and digestive health (reflux) ... It does promote vivid dreams for me, but I enjoy that, I find it entertaining...
I currently take 3mg, bue have been up to 15... one of my observation is that it affected my libido... libido went...
Been doing SubQ since beginning... 4 years now. Great success... I have learned a few things... the red lumps that look inflamed and stay itchy for a while were caused by developing an allergy to the little round plaster I used to put on...
Also, if I inject not deep enough, that is, instead of...
Sometimes adding things does not help... we need to go back to basics and remove stuff.
First, your test is way too high... at 1500, man I feel bat shit crazy on that high of a T for too long... ask me how I know! And no shit you aromatize, man at that level of T any one aromatizes a lot... lol...
Interesting hypothesis... We now know amyloid plaque is more of a side effect of the illness and probably not a cause... but his idea that it is an immune reaction that causes the amyloid secretion is interesting... Autoimmune dysfunction is a real issue in aging...
I am with Nelson here... tired of the nanny state and their well meaning bots. People should be free to do what they want, really. Part of the issue is the over regulation of these things. If we could buy those drugs from reputable makers, this would cut the risk significantly.
We should also...
