I can't tolerate TRT at all let alone mid to high normal testosterone. I must put out a disclaimer, I'm an outlier and far from common. In this video, dr claims that we should be supraphysiologic ... like Free T in the 30 to 60 ng/dl ... darn, that is a total t between 1000 and 2000 ... like mostly in the high range... I currently have a free T of 15.5 and my doc wants me to reduce it! ...
It sounds like your doctor isn't a good fit for TRT. Your doctor fears what he doesn't understand, so he's playing it safe.I currently have a free T of 15.5 and my doc wants me to reduce it! ...
Bear in mind he uses primarily cream, and has his patients test near peak levels. These are still high levels, but the numbers mean a very different thing than if they were obtained at trough on a low frequency, long ester injection protocol. In this video, dr claims that we should be supraphysiologic ... like Free T in the 30 to 60 ng/dl ...

Yeah, but I am stuck in the canadian medical system... they keep their docs inline, no one wants to risk loosing their license over a patient feeling good... lolBear in mind he uses primarily cream, and has his patients test near peak levels. The funny thing is for my lab, a 15.5 ng/dl (actually .5376 nmol/L) is over range... their range is .163 to .473 nmol/L !!! .163 is soy boy territory...It sounds like your doctor isn't a good fit for TRT. Your doctor fears what he doesn't understand, so he's playing it safe.
Allow me to point you in the direction of my quote at the bottom of my post.
If you don't have the option to find a different doctor, I would suggest you start gaming the system by delaying or skipping injections when you are getting blood drawn. You can easily manipulate the lab results this way and make it look as though you need a higher dose.Funny though, it has been a battle to try to keep my dosage but docs constantly want to lower me ... I felt best at 100mg/week which sent my free T sky high... (In the 40s) and my total T at my lowest point to 1200+ ... lol
