EMPOWER PHARMACY REORDER ISSUES :(

I have been using Empower for my TD Test cream for a loooooooong time, with no issues in the past.
I had my 6 month visit with my provider a few days ago.
After going over all my labs, and evaluateing where I was at, the NP said I needed to find another source for my TD Test cream due to the issues they had getting my last scrip approved at Empower.
It took for ever, with multiple calls, between nyself, Empower and my DRs office to get to get the script issues cleared up.
It soulded like it ended up being a phone brawel at the end before the script was accepted.
Sounded like the Empower rep was less than professionl (one side view) at the end.
Provider said they would NEVER send a scrip to Empwer again because of the issues geting the last script approved

Now I have to search out another compounding company near the end of my curent script

Try Hallandale or Medquest. The latter is what Nichols, Grant and a few other doctors specializing in prescribing cream use after a lot of their patients have had issues with other pharmacies, including Empower. Hallandale is what I switched to from Empower after having some issues with consistency on Empower's cream myself, and so far it's been good.

You could also make your own Test cream using raws and a gel/cream base similar to an HRT base. If you send your home-made stuff to Jano for testing you'll already be doing more testing than any compounding pharmacy out there. A few of them third party test their sterile products (injections), but none of them that I know tests their non-sterile products (creams), so you could easily end up with a better dosed and more consistent product.

With Empower the only things I've seen between them is delays in shipping. My last script it took ~9 days from order to delivery which as far as I'm concerned on the high end of acceptable. I long ago tired of hearing high demand and labor issues for poor service. Product is A++ though. I use Defy if that matters. I do need to order ahead a little bit more as this time I was close to running out when UPS delivered.

I have had several issues with Empower. Their customer service is not in-house and is outsourced to a third party which results in unacceptable delays and staff miscommunications. I have lost my sh*t more than once with their incompetence. Their shipping sucks as well, takes way too long to get my refills (Enclomiphene). Stuck with them for now until I can find another pharmacy.
