My labs on 16mg every other day Test Cyp

I inject 16mg test cyp every other day. I feel great on day 1 after infection. libido crashes on day 2 until next infection. My HCT just came back at 55.1 so I have to donate blood. Please have a look at my labs and give me some opinions. I have a consult with DEFY in a couple weeks. The below labs were on day 2 after last injection.

I was looking at older labs, when I was infecting 35mg two times per week into the muscle, my labs were much better, free T was at the high range or just above and total T was in the 900 range. Since going sub-q I have never felt good.

How do you you shallow im? 1/2 inch needle?

How did u feel and function on 70mg/ week when u were injecting IM?

Why are u injecting subQ if u’ve never felt good on it?

Can’t speak for Jucaro, but I personally have always done shallow IM injections, with a 1/2” insulin syringe, into the outer part of my thighs.

I draw up with a 27 gauge 1/2” insulin syringe, and then backfill a 29 gauge 1/2” insulin syringe, and inject with the 29 gauge

Yes, for me Insulin Syringe, 26G x 12.5 mm, into deltoid and outer part of the thighs. When on thighs, I press deeply with my fingers over the skin while inserting the needle, do to avoid doing subQ.

What part of the outer thighs? Upper, middle or lower?
I've had problems hitting nerves in my outer thighs.
I've never had such problems injecting into the vastus medialis muscle.

I like to keep it to the middle to upper part of my outer thigh. Injecting in the lower part near my knee doesn’t usually go well. Tend to hit nerves around that area, and seems to bleed sometimes when removing the needle. Middle to upper part I rarely ever have issues with

I felt good. I went every other day subQ because I thought it would lower my elevated hematocrit. Hematocrit is still elevated. Also IM I was hitting nerves and bleeding at at times. But now I’m thinking I should just go back to IM
 
I have a consult with DEFY on Oct 11 and I will wait to see what they say. Or I may just go back to IM now anyway. I was actually going to ask if I should just go on topicals to try to lower the HCT

SC EOD 16mg -> 56mg/week
IM 2x35mg -> 70mg/week
Double checking...

Why not compare same dose, same frequency IM vs. SC?
 
It's interesting that with SC EOD 16mg Test Cyp you have an oscillating libido - if it's actually libido, not just erection ability. Males often confuse libido with erection.

Many people are chasing libido on TRT and can't get it on their higher doses. There is this theory that you can get it only when the test level is changing and your case illustrates that.

Where were u injecting IM? I rarely get that in my outer thighs, but it does happen every so often. I actually stopped injecting in the lower part of my outer thigh, maybe 4 weeks ago, and it’s been smooth sailing since. Looking back, think hitting nerves and seeing blood come out after pulling out the needle was pretty much always happening when I would inject in the lower part of my outer thigh. I do EOD injections, so what I would do is always go back and forth between the left and right thighs EOD, but I would also try to do upper part of my thigh on both sides, then middle, then lower part. Now I just rotate around between the middle and upper parts. The thighs are so big that there’s plenty of space to rotate injection sites

And ya, SubQ can work for some, but IM works for everyone. That’s why I’ve never strayed from IM injections. It’s what works 100% of the time. Never personally saw any reason to even try subQ injections

I eat potatoes and do SC ;)

I would try the SC using the same dose and frequency used for IM. SC can take much longer to achieve its relative peak. I think one needs to give it at least two weeks before comparing to IM.

Hahah I don’t judge. Potatoes are delicious, and as far just the injection process goes, I prefer subQ over IM tbh
