will vasectomy negatively affect my hormones?

My wife and I conceived our first child through Clomid and just recently another via HCG Monotherapy. While children are truly a blessing, I think we’re done, lol. I’m considering a vasectomy for birth control, but we’re concerned about how that might affect my overall health/hormones.

I’m currently on T Cyp and HCG. Would I continue HCG if I get a vasectomy? What would be the benefit of doing so if I don’t need fertility? Previously, I was only on T Cyp and my sperm count was zero. Is that a reliable form of birth control?

Whether there’s a direct correlation or merely coincidental, all my issues started 10-12 months after vasectomy at age 36. I went from feeling great with almost too high of a sex drive to nearly nothing. I’ve heard this too many times from other guys as well. No way in hell would I ever recommend anyone do this.

Wow, just like me. Had a vasectomy at 32 (3 kids) and went downhill from there. I had no idea it might be a side effect.

I always wondered what effect a vasectomy would have on a healthy male and their T levels. Unfortunately I have already been diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism without getting a vasectomy. I guess I’m wondering if there’s any potential consequence of getting a vasectomy given my T is administered exogenously and I’m using HCG. Can a vasectomy do any additional harm?

If you are already on TRT, I doubt a vasectomy would make anything worse... my situation got worse after a vasectomy but I wasn't on TRT. If anything, you might have to adjust your protocol post vasectomy... Just my thoughts.

Go on the post vasectomy pain forums, I think it’s postvasectomy . Org and have yourself a read. It’s sad that they still do that to guys
