Will this be a bad time to start TRT?

I have been getting prescribed trt by my doctor. I have all the typical low T symptoms. But I am a bit hesitant. I failed a practical in my medicine. I am 5 years into my education. If I fail this practical subject one more time I am getting thrown out of university. I got a 6 month mandatory leave next semester, so I have 6 months to test TRT out. I am not quite sure what to do. If I get sides like people describe when I start this subject again I am probably going to fail. But at the other side, I failed because of my low t symptoms.

So does anybody have any imput?

If I get dialed in the next six months, could I suddenly out of the blue start to get side effects? What are the chances? Are the horror stories exaggerated?

WhaT is normal regarding to sides? Are they starting right away or do they usually start creeping up after a while?

My protocol will start at 100mg test E and 700iu hcg every week with daily injections.

Well, it seems like you’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t!

Guess what, that makes the next move all the more easier.

You haven’t even started yet and you’re already talking about failing, is this going to be a self-fulfilling prophecy for you?

If you go looking for problems, you’re more than likely going to find them!

The majority of men don’t have problems beyond the initial dialing in process. The men that are having problems are in the minority and you’ll find them right here on these self-help forums.

This is more than likely a ticket to failure, it’s best to start TRT in isolation and dial in and add other things in later, otherwise you won’t know what’s causing problems and risk making a change to the wrong substance, causing you to go in the wrong direction and before you know it you’re 6 months into TRT and you’re still f***ing with your protocol.

This isn’t good considering you’re on a time sensitive schedule!

There are some men that can’t even tolerate hCG beyond the first couple of doses.

Starting out on daily injections is unnecessary unless you’re having problems dialing in on TRT, so reserve this option when all other options fail.

It’s best to start out on once or twice weekly injections, with the latter option being the preferred one as it has a higher chance of success.

When you do select a protocol, it will take 4 to 6 weeks to reach steady blood levels and may take 8 to 12 weeks to realize full benefits of said protocol. Any changes to dosing in the middle of a new protocol (3 weeks in) will reset everything, and another 4 to 6 weeks to reach stable blood levels.

If you have access to the new oral testosterone formulations, Jatenzo, Orlando and Kyzatrex, you were reach a steady state in 7 days drastically cutting time the dialing in process!

Each have a recommended starting dose thus working in your favor, this would cut the dialing in process even more since all these three formulations are dosed twice daily leaving out a lot of the guest work.

These oral testosterone formulations tend to have less side effects than injections, especially with regards to erythrocytosis or excess red blood cell production.

Thanks for a good reply!

It was my doctor that said he wanted this protocol. I don't know if you are familiar with Dr. Stevenson philosophy from mens health clinic. He is on YouTube. They wants daily injections to mimic physiology. I have no problem pinning every day.

What would you say my chances are with both compounds at the same time?

You’re not telling me anything I didn’t already know, I figured out you had Dr. Stevens because you’re starting out on a daily protocol. He’s a knowledgeable doctor, but very narrowminded in his approach for treatment protocols.

Dr. Steve thinks he’s found the Holy Grail of protocols and that everyone should be on it, which is strange considering I’ve heard countless members say they don’t feel good on a daily protocol and they feel best on once weekly protocol.

Daily protocols are ideal for men who are sensitive to large hormonal spikes, swings in hormones. Injecting more frequently can alleviate these side effects.

Some men feel better on large hormonal spikes, and swings in hormones. I’ve tried all delivery options and I feel best on the new oral testosterone with large frequent hormonal spikes.

Haha. Funny

Yeah I have heard the same. From what I understand weekly injections lowers shbg and frees up testosterone. But I have also heard anecdotes about people going on test mono frequently injections and not feeling optimale, but once they add hcg they start to feel great. I can see that with monotherapy it's better to not pin everyday.

What have you heard about Stevenson? Does he have a lot of unsatisfied clients?

Yeah, sure the ones that don’t want to inject daily for the next 40 to 50 years. Dr. Stevens is very knowledgeable, just very arrogant which doesn’t make him very flexible.

Someone that thinks they know it all can’t be learn new things.

I’m certain TRT will look very different in 10 to 20 years from now.

Dr. Stevens has a 4.9 out of five stars and 69 reviews.

Jatenzo @ 237 mg twice daily. My peak levels within two hours after dosing is over 1000 ng/dL, my midpoint 592 ng/dL and low point somewhere in the 300 ng/dL range.

I’m getting amazing results considering injections and topical treatments failed to deliver similar results I’ve gotten on oral testosterone.

Jatenzo is absorbed by eating foods with fat, and since starting the carnivore diet, I’m getting higher hormone levels. Basically what I used to get before the carnivore diet at 6 hours or midpoint was 425-450, now I’m getting 408 at 9 hours after dosing.

Oh that sounds really interesting. That is something I need to look into. But are orals heavy for the liver?

What made you go that route?

But if was going to get dialed in the next six months, do you think there is any likely chance that the next semester I would out of the blue suddenly start getting bad sides or is that really unlikely?

Oral testosterone is not yet available outside of the United States. My liver enzymes are normal and triglycerides 88.

The oral testosterone bypasses the liver on the first pass only. Previous oral testosterone methods were toxic to the liver and did not bypass the liver on the first pass.

It was the only and best option left to try.

VERY sound advice! I'm dropping the HCG until I get my Kyzatrex dose dialed in.

Are you sure this is true? Andriol has been available outside the US for a long time and it is absorbed thru the lymphatic system. I don't remember it being 17AA or liver toxic. I thought it was the US that was finally catching up. Andriol never really caught on due to how fast it cleared the body and poor absorption necessitating a very large dose, but there were still reports of people who did well on it or who used it as a test of TRT or temporary T boost.

He is out to lunch as usual!

One who needs to be corrected numerous times on here.

Hard to believe after the vast amounts of info I have kicked on here over the years.

He clearly does not understand and most likely never will.

I could pull up threads/replies going back years where I have talked about Andriol as it has been available in Canada let alone other countries for f**king decades!
