Why less frequent injection intervalls with high SHBG?

Hi all, it seems common that with high SHGB, less frequent injection intervals - once per week - are recommended.

I couldn't find anything on the reasoning behind this; why does a higher dose of injected test apparently lower shgb levels to a certain extent, and why wouldn't a "steady state" (frequent injections) be equally effective for higher shbg levels?

It seems somewhat counterintuitive...

The large testosterone peaks from the large injections is what is thought to drive down SHBG.

I understand this line of thinking, what I meant is I don't understand the underlying logic - why would a peak of testosterone influence the level of the hormone that is binding the testosterone?

My shbg is high 60s. Started trt on twice weekly injections and my shbg went up 1% at 12 weeks.

Testosterone, androgens affects the livers output of SHBG, the liver must metabolize testosterone and that creates a load on the liver.

Sometimes in some men SHBG will increase after starting TRT which is do to insulin resistance negatively affecting the livers output of SHBG. Insulin resistance will lower SHBG.
