I read that certain foods can affect mood and help in regulation of chemicals that are responsible for depression and anxiety. Doctors recommend eating foods rich in omega-3 fatty acids and a Mediterranean Diet for B Vitamins.
I didn't have a good experience with mushrooms.
It may very well be less simple than it appears.
What was assessed and what are the numbers? If only TSH, and that number is above 2, your doc may have no clue that you actually do have a thyroid issue.
My bloodwork showed normal thyroid results.
