What is Optimal Estradiol Range for Libido/Erection

Before I started testosterone my erections were weak. Viagra was my best friend. When I started injecting testosterone my erections and libido increased. But is there a way to make it better?

I keep hearing people say that high estradiol increases libido/erections. Other places say high estradiol can cause ED. What is considered high? Mine is 46 pg/ml (clinically high). I have heard the optimal range is 20 to 25. Does this mean libido will be better in the 20 to 25 range?

You are going to get a lot of different answers, in other words it depends on who you ask. I seem to do well with estrogen between 25-30.

Libido and erections are really two different things. Interest is one thing, and the ability to act on it with an erection can be something else.

Like my friends above, your E number is unique to YOU. I do my best when my E2 is in the single digits. Lots of trial and error and it takes time.

Ditto on the above comments. When mine goes above 35, erections and libido tank. This is one number you have to find for yourself.

Well it ain’t broken now and no need for viagra anymore but thinking of experimenting at getting my E between 20 to 25 range see and what happens.

So why is it we have constant boners and sex drive in our teens? Is being horney a psychological thing? Does our libido decrease as we get older because we are just psychologically desensitized…like been there done that kinda thing?

I’m like you regarding libido, my E2 doesn’t affect it one way or the other. I do notice my erections get harder to achieve once my E2 goes above 85.

Wow, 85. That's a pretty high level, is that using the sensitive estrogen test.

I can only tell you what happen and make up your conclusion.

example one:
had 0.5MG arimidix ( which took my estrogen to crazy low levels) I had all kind of crazy ideas, anxiety all kind of shit so I later mixed vodka with arimidix and starting taking 0.05 or even 0.025 just one drop ! then I got good estrogen levels ( no anxiety )

example two:

my Estrogen was high ( didn't take AI, also I had a surge in E.
couldn't reach orgasm I can go forever sometimes I just have to stop actually most of the time I had to stop. very moody get mad easily at anything.(I took cialis during this time also could be a reason)

these two example is enough for me to control Estrogen

Cool. Years ago, when I had raging libido/erections, my wife would get annoyed that I wanted her all the time. For the past decade, I've been dead in the water, working with a great urologist and I'm still dead in the water, but I've got a complicated medical history. My wife has been depressed that I stopped sleeping with her 10 years ago. But that doesn't mean she wants my hands all over her.

Thinking in terms of numbers regarding estrogen is wrong, but from a lot of people Ive seen numbers below 90 are ok in presence of high enough free t.

Ive noticed a lot of people complain from e2 issues including with libido. They do suboptimal protocols with once or even twice a week injections. Ive told at least 5 people to switch to daily and no matter whether their estrogen drops all their issues disappear. Some people can get away with more rare injections, but many cannot. Our bodies are not designed to have peaks and troughs of hormones

On the contrary, significant daily peaks and troughs are the norm. Maybe you mean large variations taking place over many days, which is less natural.

Yes exactly and this is what happens with most guys doing weekly. First testosterone peaks, then it falls but when t falls eatrogen peaks and this is where the issues happen

I tried eod vs twice weekly and I think twice weekly is better at least over all experience is better.
However libido still an issue no idea how this can be solved.
Giving this twice a week a shot if didn’t work will hit the cream.
