I use 20mg tablets and split 4 ways with a basic pill splitter. I take 10mg a day 5mg morning 5mg night. It had a negligible effect on BP and I take it more for the NO effect in my stack. Erections were OK without it....great with it! I started low 2.5mg a day and evaluated sides.....moved dose up incrementally over a few months and have no sides at 10mg a day now.

Use All Day Chemist. Less that $1, if you buy enough 20 mg, divide into quarters and your talking 23 cents. Average dose varies. Start with 5 mg daily and add 5 more an hour or so before sex. Keeping a steady amount in your system is the best way to get all the benefit, sexually and otherwise. Side effects will eventually stop. Start small, keep a steady dose, and adjust up slowly.

did you get headaches/brainfog/body aches in the beginning? I got them really bad when i tried going straight to 5mg a day, did 2.5mg eod now going to 2.5mg a day and feel it creeping up. how long did the side effects last for you?

I had heartburn really bad initially and it has totally subsided. Even on small doses the heartburn was pretty bad initially and lasted a couple of months. I did not get the muscle aches and back pain that seem to also be very common. I would take a Tums and help with the issue. Now I have no sides at all.

if his heart is ok. Talk to his doctor. I like 10 mg per day and 20 when sex is planned, but I have the doctor’s approval. Find out and go from there. ADC meds are fine.

Not necessarily. If he has low blood pressure or a rhythm issue, adding more could be problematic. We cant just look at how it treats ED and keep increasing dose.

Daily doses are generally prescribed at 2.5 mg and 5 mg doses and occasionally 10mg. Why don’t you just ask for a new script for half the dose with double the quantity? Or if u want 4 ask for 5 mg tabs. Pharmacies can fill cheaper if getting 90 day supplies vs 30 days as well. Cialis tadalafil is not supposed to be split in to multiple doses as it’s not a scored tablet and you may take a higher and or lower amount from either half of the tab. Doing this continuously means the daily level will be off constantly.
And why are you asking about it to lower your BP??? If you have HTN then you should be on something designed specifically for BP or get to the root of the problem so you don’t have to take BP meds at all hopefully. Magnesium and zinc before you go to bed is said to help moderate BP levels, good for the penis, and will help you sleep better as well.
Cialis viagra etc will lose potency for sexual encounters if you work out after taking a dose. It’s a vasodilator so it will help with exercise and workouts giving you a better pump. Cialis is also now linked to helping raise testosterone. So you may need to talk to your doctor about an appropriate daily dose.
