Weight gain, snoring and Upcoming doctors visit

Been doing some reading on low and high E symptoms and I have been dealing with a few symptoms on the list that indigent give much thought to:

Weak urine stream the past couple of weeks even though I have been drinking lots of water.
Sore joints
Less morning wood
Erections don't feel as full.....can't explain it a better way

A symptom that wasn't on any list but started yesterday was that my testicles occasionally ache. I only ever experience this aching for a couple more weeks after I started TRT.

You may well be having estradiol issues. It's remarkably challenging to determine, on symptoms alone, if e2 is elevated or suppressed. With the exception of joint pain, a classic low estradiol sign, they can appear in both manifestations. Be sure your doctor orders the sensitive estradiol test, LC, MS/MS, as it's the only one accurate for men.

Had my doctor's visit this morning. I have a few things on my one after this visit so bear with my rambling.......

First off he was quite impressed with how prepared I was for the visit and the type of questions I was asking. He eventually even asked where I was getting my information from and I told him about this site, he plans on telling other patients about the site as he is very impressed with the quality of information found on ExcelMale.com.

Prior to the visit I had blood drawn for T levels, hemocrit and PSA. I previously posted the T levels and hemocrit results but PSA is still not in yet, more on that to come.....he agrees that my SHBG levels are very low and I should be doing 2 injections per week and he is open to EOD injections if I want to go that route. For now I am going to try twice a week.

We discussed my recent symptoms and weight gain and he immediately thought I could have an estradiol issue and order testing for that and a thyroid panel. Two of my more recent symptoms, a weak urine streak and smaller bowel movements instantly made him think enlarged prostate. But given my age, health and the fact I have never had a PSA level above 1.4, he told me not to worry. If my recent PSA test results were in and at a normal level I would be ok, but seeing how they are not yet in I am a little freaked out. He is hoping that by Friday my PSA, E2 and Thyroid results are in and we will make adjustments from there. He is fairly certain my E2 numbers are going to come back high. If need be he will start me on an AI, but doesn’t like to unless he has to. Another option might be lowering my T dose. What ever we do he wants me to have new labs run in about 6 weeks and see him again in 8 weeks.

I also asked about switching to shallow IM injections but he would like to postpone that change until we get things back on track. He doesn’t like making lots of changes at once.

One last thing, he also wants me to get a proper sleep study done to either diagnose or rule out sleep apnea. He thinks the at home sleep studies are a joke and a pathetic attempt to save a buck. He did two of them at home himself and they came back negative, did one at the sleep center and was diagnosed and treated for sleep apnea.
