I got my results back today from LabCorp. My protocol for the last 6 months, 18 mg of testosterone cypionate daily, 500 iu of HCG twice a week, pregnenolone 10 mg and dhea 25 mg daily. No AI.

Testosterone, Serum 1165 Reference Range: 264-916 ng/dL
Free Testosterone(Direct) 30.0 Reference Range: 6.6-18.1 pg/mL
Estradiol, Sensitive 24.2 Reference Range: 8.0-35.0 pg/mL
SHBG 55.0 Reference Range: 19.3-76.4 nmol/L
Hematocrit 48.1 Reference Range: 37.5-51.0 %
DHEA-Sulfate 365.6 Reference Range: 48.9-344.2 ug/dL
Albumin 4.2 Reference Range: 3.6-4.8 g/dL

I also had labs done through Empire City Laboratories. They don't have a patient portal. I'll get their results on the 16th.
All comments good or bad are welcome.

One comment, I have not had to donated blood for a few years.

As your very well know the direct immunoassay is a waste of time when testing FT so you would never truly know where your FT levels sit on such protocol.....unless you tested using the gold standard Equilibrium Dialysis or Ultrafiltration (next best) or as you know the newer calculated TruT method (on par with results obtained by ED).

At least you can see that your FT levels are a lot higher now on your current protocol!

Vince's new testosterone panel 1/21/2019

protocol for one year, 16 mg of testosterone cypionate daily, 500 iu of HCG twice a week, 25 mg of DHEA, 10mg of pregnenolone and no AI.

Testosterone serum 880 ng/dL range 264 - 916
Free T 32.3 pg/mL range 6.6 - 18.1
DHEA - Sulfate 384.4 range 48.9 - 344.2
Estradiol, Sensitive 28.5 range 8.0 - 35.0
SHBG 39.7 range 19.3 - 76.4
HCT 48.0 range 37.5 - 51.0
DHT 54.0 range 30 - 85

Your previous protocol using the newer calculated TruT method:

TT 880 ng/dL, SHBG 39.7, Albumin 4.3 g/dL (mean) than your FT was 30.26 ng/dL (top end of the reference range of 16-31 ng/dL).

Albumin 4.2
Reference Range: 3.6-4.8 g/dL

Your most recent protocol using the newer TruT calculated method:

TT 1165 ng/dL, SHBG 55 nmol/L, Albumin 4.2 g/dL and now your FT is 40.19 ng/dL (over the top end of the reference range of 16-31 ng/dL).
Screenshot (548).png

As you can see since you increased your T dose from 16 mg/daily--->18 mg daily that your TT jumped almost 300 ng/dL as it was 880 ng/dL and now is 1165 ng/dL.

Although your SHBG has also increases some from 39.7--->55 nmol/L.....because your TT is a lot higher your FT levels are now much higher as it went from roughly 30--->40 ng/dL.

You stated in your previous thread regarding the protocol above....."Yes I'm very happy with my protocol, I feel that I'm completely dialed in. I'm feeling really good and just recently after hitting a plateau in my workout. I started making new gains again.

Why did you feel the need to increase your T dose from 16 mg/daily--->18 mg daily if you already felt great overall?

Seems pointless to increase your dose which now has resulted in much higher TT/FT levels.

I increase my testosterone dose from 16 mg to 18 mg, just to shake things up. I'm thinking of going back down to 16 mg. In all honesty I have felt great and all my protocols. The one thing that I really like, that I no longer have to donate blood.

I wonder why my estrogen dropped. I would think with the increase of total testosterone it would have increased.

When I saw my results, I did use the trut calculator to check my freeT.

Sean, thanks. Not that it's a big concern, I wonder why my e2 dropped. My HDL did go down to 61, I believe it was in the 70s before I increase my dose.

Your labs look amazing.

I'm currently taking HCG twice a week and may be adding Test. Cypionate once per week. What is best schedule to administer these? Am, Pm?

For me it's easier just to injectct in the morning. Otherwise I would probably forget or do it at different times. I inject my testosterone daily and I inject my HCG Monday morning and Thursday morning. When you inject twice a week, most people do it 3 1/2 days apart. So that would be Monday morning and Thursday night. I don't feel it necessary to be that precise.
