Very low Testosterone

Buy Lab Tests Online
Hey guys,

Got my bloods done and I'm pretty upset by results

Been on Testosterone Enanthate now over 12 weeks, I take 50mg twice a week (every 3.5 days)

Today's results are 9.1 nmol = 262 ng/dl

To say I'm upset is an understatement, plus all the usual symptoms of low testosterone

Any idea why it's so low guys when on testosterone Enanthate 100mg for over 12 weeks?

I did have Influenza A for 3 weeks was pretty sick, but.... maybe that's not why my T is so low

What can I do, do I increase it?

Here are my bloods results

Thanks all

Assuming these are trough measurements, one possibility is that you absorb your TE faster than average. The implication is that your serum testosterone goes very high in the day after the injection, but then decreases relatively rapidly. The solution is to inject more often, at least every other day. For example, you could try injecting 28 mg EOD. If trough measurements are still lower than desired then the next step would be 14 mg daily.

Contrary to popular perception, 100 mg TE per week is a lot of testosterone, and it's likely that your average testosterone level in response to this is well above average for the general healthy population. The goal then is to dampen the variations so you're not getting extreme highs and lows.

Hey guys,

So, since I last spoke to you all, I've did the following
Previously haemocrat was .54, causing serious pressure headaches.
I lowered my dosage and had bloods withdrawal donated 1 pint

The past 5 weeks, I've been taking 100mg week, divided into 2 doses, every 3.5 days take 50mg

Between lowering my dosage and having blood
donation , here is my results from today's bloods.

This is trough level, few hrs before next injection

testosterone is 625 ng/dl

haemocrat is .46
Oestradiol free 130 p/mol
SHBG is 23 n/mol = 663 ng/dl
PSA 2.1 Ug/L Range 0 to 2.90 (is this high?)

Thank you, I'll try your recommendation, cheers

I don't know what you means by saying something is not jiving here, what does jiving mean, that something is not right here?

... what does jiving mean, that something is not right here?
"Jiving" is a bastardization of "jibing".

jibe 2 | jīb | verb [no object] North American English informal be in accord; agree: the verdict does not jibe with the medical evidence.

Been around awhile too.

jive 3 [no object] US English informal be in accord; agree: her facial expressions did not jive with what she was saying. [1940s: originally by association with jibe]

I'm of the belief that your SHBG at 20 could be indicative that you are a fast metabolizer, which would mean you just need more than twice a week as suggested appx 28mg Every other Day could be productive for you. It should be very unlikely that you need to have a daily injection. I would do the EOD schedule for 4 weeks and then get lab testing right before your injection is due.

I don't know what you means by saying something is not jiving here, what does jiving mean, that something is not right here?

That is the point I am trying to get across here.

When you started the TE your protocol was the same (dose of T/injection frequency) as you were injecting 100 mg T split into twice-weekly injections (50 mg every 3.5 days).

When using esterified TC/TE it will take 4-6 weeks to reach steady-state due to the PKs.

We always want to test at the true trough (lowest point) before your next injection which in your case would be 84 hrs post-injection.

You had your blood work done after 5 weeks in 82 hrs post-injection so 2 hrs shy of your true trough and you were hitting a robust trough TT 625 ng/dL and seeing as you had lowish SHBG then your almost true trough calculated free testosterone (cFTV) would be around 16.5 ng/dL which is healthy.

Just recently on the same protocol (dose of T/injection frequency) you had blood work done again after 12 weeks in and although you never mentioned how many hrs post-injection blood work was done I would think close to trough (based off your previous blood work) and now after 12 weeks you are hitting a dismal trough TT 262 ng/dL and with a lowish SHBG 20 nmol/L then your trough calculated free testosterone (cFTV) would be around 6.61 ng/dL which is at the bottom end!

Your trough TT after 5 weeks in - 625 ng/dL--->after 12 weeks in 262 ng/dL!

Same dose/injection frequency.

Are you using big pharma, compounded or UGL TE?

Your T is legit as your LH/FSH next to nil.

Have you been consistent with the dose you are drawing?

You can always retest but even then you already stated that you are experiencing low-T symptoms!
