Using CBT

I am a psychotherapist and have been for the past 22 years. I have written a couple of ebooks that I used with clients. CBT is a highly effective therapeutic intervention that is very effective for most common mental health issues. There seems to be a lot of interest here in it. I am posting these her and hope they may be able to help a few guys here. By all means, a therapist versed in it can be a huge plus, but taking the actions in these books has helped a lot of my clients. I would be willing to answer questions guys may have.

Hope it’s ok to post.

It is useful for any issue which can be impacted by thought processes, behavior, or flawed logic. A pubmed search will yield hundreds of studies illustrating the utility of the methods.

I'm reading the CBT publication. Fun write up. Excellent work MountainMan! Thanks for making these available.

I have used CBT independently and with a couple therapists. It has been a significant contributor along with mindfulness and buddhist meditation, heart rate variability and capnometry biofeedback and TRT to my solutions for PTSD, anxiety, self knowledge and general life choice issues.
