I am about a year into TRT. On top of TRT I started seasonal allergy sublingual (drops) immunotherapy about 2 months ago. It seems as if this affecting me mentally, also my Test numbers were cut in half. I believe that my allergies increase my anxiety and this is why I went down this road. I read a little bit about histamine increase can increase estrogen. I figure that I am taking an exponential amount of my most exact allergies. Do you think this can affect my T levels and therefore affect my mood? I almost at my peak Allergen dose at this point but still pondering quitting. Is there anyone else that has experience with this. I'm having a hard time finding info about it, and my TRT doc says it shouldnt affect it, but I disagree. Any insight?

In general, male sex hormones suppress allergic responses whereas female ones aggravate them; therefore, low levels of testosterone or androgens are expected in male allergic patients and high levels of estrogen and progesterone in female allergic patients.Mar 10, 2021
