I recently requested my GP for Testosterone check. It came out to be 8.2 nmol/L (normal range is 8.4 to 28.8), she repeated the test and it came back 8.7 nmol/L. She was not interested to take it forward, however, I asked her to refer to a specialist. She agreed to refer to an endocrinologist and asked me if I have someone in mind. I need to go back with a name to get referred.

So, need your help, do you guys know any TRT doctor in the Toronto area who can help.
31 yr/ CrossFit 4 times a week / 8.2 / 8.7 (two weeks apart).

Thanks.

Dr. Adam Millar is an endocrinologist at Mount Sinai with a solid reputation in this area. He will want your free testosterone value submitted when your doctor makes the referral (it should have be n ordered as part of your initial screening).

I don’t know Dr. Millar, I have heard him speak. My own care is directed by my primary care doctor, who knows this stuff well, but you’d have to enroll in her practice under OHIP guidelines.

If Dr. Millar doesn’t work out we can provide some other names to consider.

Thanks, man! Let me call his office and to get the referral process started. My GP didn't order free testosterone; I read 2015 recommendation in CMAJ on TDS and she didn't bother to order any of the mentioned tests.

I don't mind changing my GP honestly. I will reach out to you if this doesn't work out.

@CoastWatcher Dr. Millar declined the referral(It seems he has a 1 year waiting period) and in turn suggested Dr. John Aquino on 3200 Dufferin Street. Ontario Men's Health | Men's Clinic Toronto, Men's Health Clinic
His clinic looks like they pushing for a private practice with Shockwave therapy or something.
I reluctantly told my GP's office to forward the referral, however, I'm not convinced with this Doc's approach.

Do you know (or if you could check) if your GP is accepting new patients? Or any other referral that can work.

Thanks.

I’ll respond shortly. Thanks for being patient.
