Dear All

I have just started TRT 50mg T.E every 3.5d and 500iu HCG every 3.5d.

I started treatment and have done 2 shots - so not expecting any miracles yet.
However I finally got my detailed thyroid statistics back.

THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE 2.32 mIU/L 0.27 - 4.20
FREE THYROXINE *22.300 pmol/L 12.00 - 22.00
FREE T3 5.45 pmol/L 3.10 - 6.80
REVERSE T3 *33 ng/dL 10.00 - 24.00
REVERSE T3 RATIO *10.75 15.01 - 75.00
THYROGLOBULIN ANTIBODY <10 IU/mL 0.00 - 115.00
THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES 12.4 IU/mL 0.00 - 34.00

I am 29 years old, fit and healthy (as can be). I have all of the typical low T symptoms.

I am reading about thyroid but cannot find anything that says High TSH, High FT4 and FT3, high RT3 as well. I do not have many of the symptoms of both hypo and hyper thyroidism (only those shared with low T)

My initial thyroid check (basic) with medichecks was in range so It didnt seem a concern. Any opinions? I read alot about TRT not working if the thyroid is not in check.

Thinking that youre asymptomatic is good. Thats not shown in the raw numbers.

Thyroxine is T4, looks good, as does T3, very good, problem here is reverse T3...means that the T3 is not getting in to your cells to be used; pooling.
Could mean a low iron condition, reverse T3 should be under 15, I believe.

I also have high Reverse T3 with all other thyroid hormone spot on, insulin resistance is thought to be the cause of it. I'm not saying that it's the same for you, but your body is slamming on the brake metabolically and there is a reason.
