Yes my Primary Physician told me Lisinopril is very safe and effective medication with very few side effects. My BP was almost same as now before I began TRT.
FYI, Lisinopril nearly killed me. I woke up one night with my throat nearly swollen shut, tongue swollen out of my mouth. They gave me epi at emergency room, didn't budge the swelling at all. Close to putting a trach in, but they gave me fresh frozen plasma, which did the trick. While doc said it was safe, I can tell you as soon as the ER nurse saw me, she asked if I was on Lisinopril. So, it happens enough the nurse recognized the symptoms immediately. My mistake, the doc told me to let him know if I developed a slight cough, when I first started taking it. I did for a couple of days, then it went away. So, I did not say anything. That was probably my warning. 8 months later, this happened. Just sharing
