Trimix "burn" for the Misses

For the Trimix users here... has anyone had any complaints from the "partner" complaining about a burning sensation during sex? (...and no it's not a STD lol). I'm 99% sure it's the alcohol swipe I use to prep the injection site.

Assuming that's the cause...any ideas on if there is something else to use to prep site prior to injection? Or maybe I'm just rubbing the swab over a much larger area than really needed. I also wonder what the real risk is of just injecting without cleaning it at all

Try not using the alcohol swab once. Also, does she need a lubricant ?

Good questions, I haven't used Trimix yet, but will probably get there soon enough. Can't you just wash or shower after injection to remove the alcohol remnants?

I gave it some more thought...maybe I just simple do quick wash with water & soap after injecting to remove any alcohol residue. Or maybe those baby wipe things are easy assuming alcohol free too.

alcohol has a very low residue level. She would have to be extremely sensitive to it. Are the pads you use, just an alcohol based pad? It may be other chemicals in the pad. I would make sure they are medical grade alcohol, without anything added to it. Lens cleaners for instance are mostly, but not entirely alcohol. I wouldn't use them for that reason.

These are BD brand alcohol swabs with 70% alc strength (nothing else stated on packet). I can see how a vagina would be extra sensitive to that. I think we all have made the mistake (once) of putting cologne on our balls...um yea that was def not fun lol

I plan to next time use an alcohol free "baby wipe" post injection. Will report back on how that goes.

Just inject, rub it in good then go take a nice shower with a mild soap. I'm sure she'll love the fact that you're freshly showered before going at it. See if that makes a difference. My other half has never complained about her hoo-hah burning after I've taken a Trimix shot, and I use the same BD alcohol wipes.

Personally, I think the trimix / alcohol swab idea is a red herring. Alcohol simply evaporates too quickly on the skin, unless you are penetrating her within 60 seconds or less of applying the swab to yourself. I think more likely she has some dysbiosis or something similar on her end that is causing the irritation. You can try boric acid suppositories to test that idea. Depending on age, deficient hormones will cause the same burning sensations during sex. I've also seen this happen with bad lubricants - make sure to only use water-based lubricants that are pH balanced.
