About a week and half ago I dropped my bottle of T on to the floor after injection (damn neuropathy!). The metal rim on the top got a dent in it. The glass did not break. I thought nothing of it because it didn't appear to be damaged except for the dent. A couple of injections later it does not seem to be drawing out of the bottle the same way. Two days ago it took forever to come out into the syringe and when the needle came out it hissed at me as air was released from the bottle (I always inject 1cc of air into the bottle before I draw.

Today I had trouble again drawing from the bottle. It used to drip into the syringe - today it seemed to just slide down the inside. Though it did come out faster.

This is practically a new bottle (about half full).

Should I be concerned and stop injecting it. I have an email in to my Doctor about the situation.

I am certainly worried about the bottle being compromised.

You may have broken the airtight seal allowing air into the bottle? Leave the bottle inverted for a while to see if any T is dripping out.

I wouldn't worry, I've dropped one and broke it :)
You can help the oil flow by warming it up, I keep a shallow container and fill it with warm water and drop the vial in for ~5 minutes. It's a but easier to draw out, flows better when warmed.

It's not likely to be a problem as under the aluminium cap is a full rubber plug inserted into the vial. The glass literally has to break for it to be a problem. Warming it up some does make sense... I hope you are not refrigerating it. :p

Thanks for the replies. I have never had an issue with drawing the T..That's the only reason I bring this up. That and the fact that the metal dented. It's just not drawing like it used to. Even this bottle. I always keep in at room temperature and it takes like 30 seconds to draw up the dose. Two days ago it literally took like 5 minutes to get the entire dose loaded in.

I just turned it upside down and will check it tomorrow and see if its leaking while I wait for my Doc to get back to me about this and the crazy increase in E2 (see my other thread)

I left the bottle upside down for 2 days and nothing came out. Seems that I may have jumped the gun a little bit on this one. Something has definitely changed with the bottle though. I just can't seem to get the T out as quickly as before. I may try warming it up as suggested.

Are you sure your syringes are the same? Any chance your using a smaller needle than usual? Is your testosterone stored in a place that is colder than usual? Because other than that there is no reason for it to be harder to load a syringe.
