man when i tried a butterfly kit i only got 50-75 cc before it clogged up. My is is a nurse and nkw nurse practitioner and she did it. Hopefully it will work for you. T just flows so slow thru that little needle and no vacuum tube to pull it thru

Even with your arm having a pressure cuff on it got clogged? Have you tried a bigger needle? Maybe you can purchase a vacuum tube somewhere? Honestly exploring all options at this point.

hmmm good point about the name on the script I didn't consider that.

I think it is incredibly ill conceived to butterfly kit yourself vs going to another donation company and attempting it...or just call other places and give them your story anonymously and ask what your eligibility is.

I have found that any non red cross or non state run blood center wants your blood for $$$$$. The more privately run centers aren’t in business to turn people away.

I appreciate your opinion. I’m going to look into it further. But Defy medical gave me my options and it was NY blood center OR pay thousands of dollars for a private doctor to do it. Unfortunately NY is much different that most states and incredibly difficult when it comes to this kind of stuff. Maybe someone from NY has done a different option and can help.

I get it. Nyc blows for lots of medical stuff. I used to live in eastern PA. Can you try a place in Jersey? I’m just saying once u find a place that will take you it will save you a lot of headaches. I get ny blood center is a no-go.

Bigger needles are hard to buy without a script. Yes on cuff. I do not thi k you will find a 400 cc vacuume tufor a threaputic phlebotomy

Yes it really does! Jersey is an option, An option that will end up putting me out of work for entire day plus will have costs of rental car. I think I need to exhaust all other ideas first.
