Testosterone level

Hello, I have just checked my testosterone levels after stopping my brief (two months) TRT. My values seem to have returned to pre-injection levels; I know they are low and I haven't used anything other than testosterone enanthate (125 mg per week). My brain fog persists.

Do you think these numbers can be acceptable for a 39-year-old man, athletic, who complains of brain fog and low libido, little sleep, etc.? What else can I do to intervene?

My thyroid test results were:
- Antibodies: 0
- TSH: 3.48 µIU/ML (Range: 0.4–5.0)
- FT3: 4.82 pmol/L
- FT4: 11.7 pmol/L

I’m attaching a picture of my testosterone values.

Imo your T is good. It is not low.
Sleep, stress balance!!! Mental, physical, emotional stress.
You could measure vit D, progesterone and DHEA to make sure you are not deficient.

Hi, so my vitamin D levels are quite high, 37.21 NG/ML.
My DHEAS is 188.1 ug/dL, with a reference range of 34.5 - 568.9."

I don't have my progesterone levels available. I've purchased a DHEA supplement and also a pregnenolone supplement. Could you possibly advise me on a suitable dosage that might help me?"

You should start really low, lowest dose you can get. Note that adding it without a deficiency could make things worse. Low normal range could be optimal for you.

If stress is the root cause, then mitigating stress would result in symptom improvement.

I have similar TT and FT numbers. I'm 53 and the last time I checked my TT was 438, FT 8.4. I was on TRT for 8-9 years, came off and continued to have the same issues. I figured it out. The entire time on TRT I had low vitamin D but any time I tried raising the vitamin D I had side effects that were from overdosing on vitamin C which was jacking up my ferritin above the normal ranges and for anyone that knows anything about vitamin D knows it also helps you absorb iron, something I already had too much of.

Everytime I donate blood I can tolerate more vitamin D with less sides than the day before the blood donation.

To make a long story short, testosterone was never my problem, I had low vitamin D.

Your testosterone, TT and FT are not low.

Your testosterone,

Hello and thank you for your response. I should mention that I am 39 years old. I was unclear about your statement regarding vitamin D's indirect effect on ferritin levels. Could you please elaborate on the mechanism by which this occurs? My recent iron panel results are as follows:

- Serum iron: 159 mcg/dl (reference range: 50-170)
- Total transferrin: 269 mg% (reference range: 200-340)
- Ferritin: 144.3 ng/ml (reference range: 20-300)"
