I have another update on this. Due to COVID-19, I've cut both my testosterone dose down and eliminated HCG. I wanted a very simple protocol with little risk of health downsides over the next several months, and I'm willing to be slightly more sluggish, etc in return. My current COVID-19 protocol is 120mg testosterone in 17mg daily injections subQ. My protocol most recently before this was 168mg/week test-e in daily doses subQ alongside 500IU HCG E3.5D.
Interesting, just like in my update of dropping HCG when on 150mg/week test-e, my testicles have fixed themselves. They now hang lower, seem to be larger, and my ejaculate is relatively strong again. They no longer retract into my body during sex.
I wonder what could be going on. Some possibilities off the top of my head? --
1. Something about my estradiol being lower now and that changing how my testicles hang? Or how the muscle that pulls on my testicles acts?
2. Maybe my total testosterone on 120mg/week is so low that I'm getting LH/FSH activity. Is this possible? I took 120mg/week once, when I first started TRT, and my levels were: TT 447 ng/dL, RIA free T 8.18 ng/dL (Range: 5.00 - 21.00)". That was with 250IU HCG Monday and Friday as well. My pre-TRT TT was around 400 and my free T was around 9-10 on that same scale.
3. Maybe when I have more androgens/estrogens I'm more aroused / my erection / etc is so much stronger that it "pulls" my testicles up. I do notice my erections are much more like they were pre-TRT now - they happen, but they're not instant. I am getting some morning wood.
#2 is interesting to me. I wonder if it's more possible to get some LH/FSH with the small daily injections. When I was doing 120mg/week before I was doing MWF and I did feel my testicles ache between HCG doses.
