Not everyone gets symptoms from high HCT, you need labs. You can also take aspirin to make plateletes slippery.Anyone know what what levels symptoms begin to become obvious?

When fasting for labs, I was always told to drink a lot of water. You never want to get dehydrated plus when drinking water it makes it easier to draw blood.Well the past several blood tests I have fasted for 10 to 12 hours and this included no water intake.
"Just" donating is not going to be easy. MY TRT doc does not have privileges at a hospital and it appears that in order to write a therapeutic phlebotomy script he needs to be. I don't have a PCP at this time either. I am hoping that the grapefruit makes enough of a difference over the next week weeks.
