Hello friends,

I'm new here and this is my first post.
just saw the attached discussion (see below) and wondering about nelson question "Are you taking a supplement that may be acting like an anabolic steroid? "
is there any supplements that could act like anabolic steroid and suppress the natural production ?
I'm using for 2 Yrs a lot of supplements:
ED: omega 3, magnesium citrate 400mg , D3 500IU , zinc 50mg, multivitamin (VC 50plus multi)
may one of them suppress the natural production of T ?
I feel low libido and testicular shrinkage , never used anabolic steroid .
thanks in advance!

None of the supplements you listed are suppressive. Have you done blood work to see where you are? Total & Free T, sensitive E2, SHBG, thyroid, etc..

Begin the process of testing, either on your own or with your doctor's involvement, and start gathering data. Good information to replace worry and conjecture.

Hi friends,
thank you very much for the information.
I discussed with my doc about that issue.
I have a blood test tomorrow.
including the following :
Total Test , SHBG, LH, FSH, DHEA, Progesterone, Prolactin, Cortisol, Albumin.
also I have Testicles Ultra Sound next month.
hoping I'm fine.

any way I would like to ask if its possible to damage my hormonal sys. due to intensive workout (heavy lifting) without eating enough calories (mostly fats & carbs) and not get enough sleep hrs. for long time period (about a year)?
if its relevant I'm 30Y/O , 1.7m, 75KG .

thank you all , appreciate your kind help.
Best Regards.

My 2 cents: it would be a good idea to also check TSH, free t3, free t4, and reverse t3.
I have heard of some pre workout have certain banded substances in them.
good luck!

I think in that scenario you'd be talking about overtraining which is detrimental to your hormones and other physiological pathways, I don't believe to use your word, damage would be a result.
