* The device initially focuses on two key hormones: cortisol and progesterone. The Eli Cortisol Test provides 97% accuracy compared to FDA-approved traditional lab tests, while the progesterone test shows 94% agreement with FDA-approved lab testing in third-party evaluations.

* The system works in three steps: a 60-second saliva collection using a finger-slim cartridge, smartphone-based analysis using the device’s camera and AI algorithms, and delivery of health insights through the Eli Health app. The technology offers up to 1,000,000 times greater sensitivity than most at-home market products.

* Eli Health reports that testosterone and estradiol tests are already in development, with plans to expand to additional biomarkers.
The company’s technology is the result of five years of research and development, supported by $9 million in funding.

Eli Health has unveiled the Hormometer, a saliva-based hormone analysis device that transforms smartphones into portable hormone analyzers, at CES 2025 this week. The device also won Best of Innovation in the CES Innovation Awards 2025 program for Digital Health.

“At Eli Health, we are creating unprecedented access to hormone health insights, providing individuals with the tools they need to better understand and support their wellness—every day and across life. The Hormometer is the result of years of dedicated R&D in our Canadian facility, supported by a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, AI developers, doctors, and innovators. Combining cutting-edge innovation with user-friendly design, it delivers lab-grade precision in the palm of your hand. We are making hormone monitoring as simple and accessible as checking your heart rate, helping people proactively manage their health,” said Marina Pavlovic Rivas, Co-founder and CEO of Eli Health.
