No one is pushing anyone to a calorie restriction diet. You asked if there was a way to lose weight without counting calories, and we've talked about plenty of ways you can do that. Possibly your English reading comprehension is not strong enough to understand the options we discussed.

I do know what I'm talking about when it comes to eating to stay lean. Here's what I looked like a couple weeks ago with 57 pg/ml free T (a sad hypogonadal value) on my meat and fruit diet:

If u go back at begging I asked in Mediterranean how much carbs intake..any way I gave up ...


Ok as u every week will lose 1 pound of fat as they say cut 500 calorie a day so let me check on u after one year..maybe u will be 1% or 2% body fat?

The calorie restriction left it because it end my libido and it make me dead body ...so its my view I can't be with me ...as I have girls to dating..

it is quite entertaining to read your replies I have to say. some girls don't mind fat guys, why not just focus on those. you can also do fat removal surgery, that works without cutting any calories I was told.

No no I.will be eating 1000 calories a day even I will count how ml of water that I drink and I will count how many times I breath ...I'm so.happy.im on the right path

Alternatively, since you clearly have zero understanding of dieting and no understanding of what this forum told you, get on Ozempic and it will do the job that you can't.

I wanted end all this debate but u still keep going...now u for years doing calorie restriction diet...so u must have at least 5% body fat..


Kindly post here your body fat percentage..I'm sure its over 20%


So since your diet not make u reach its goal .how bout others
 
The leanest people as I mention before rich piana and golden era was not counting calories and they was super lean on low carbs ..


And one said because their steroids use...but many of them in offseason gain fat when they eat more carbs along with fat so the steroid use not help...
 
How to get fat with 0 carbs - yes it is about counting calories, when you stuff yourself with fat like there is no tomorrow and your physical activity is nowhere near the one of a bodybuilder that you are "comparing" yourself to, pretending that the law of conservation of energy doesn't apply to you LOL:

 
TBH as much as calories are the key, i also do not buy into the idea that all are equal. this does not make any sense. take body building and protein for example, if you train hard a lot of the calories consumed from protein will be used for muscle building. plus the needed energy to complete those processes. you can take it even further, and by listening to guys like saladino, get the idea that some foods are inhibiting our metabolism, like PUFAs. so i think there is more in the picture, and the quality of foods can definitely make a difference, however there are not many studies on this, so some youtube gurus will claim since there are no studies - there is no evidence, which is also the other extreme.

Saladino is the last one you should listen about nutrition advice. He has been debunked million times. The quallity of foods do matter but Ive been doing this for close to 20 years and never had a problem getting into a great shape eating pretty much whatever I want but paying attention to my portion sizes. But don't get me wrong I enjoy eating clean and as healthy as I possibly can but also enjoy some "dirty" food here and there because we live once and theres no need for any restrictions unless you want to get stage lean then its a different ball game. I'm still in a great shape, lean, plenty of muscle, year round. You can see some of my pictures on my own journal here on EM if you are interested. I've counted calories for more then 10 years and still do till this day but I can also eat by portion size because its easy for me after all these years. But since I work with raw data, statistics and facts, I like to know exactly what I'm putting in my mouth. Have logged everything for many years and its a great reference point to get back to when I need to check something. PUFAS actually are healthy AF like sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds or Black Seed Oil which has tons of benefits. For example sunflower seeds are great Vitamin-E source, natures antibiotic. Great for treating high blood pressure as well. Also PUFAS great for skin and hair as well and I'm sure they have many more benefits. FWIW there is ZERO studies on cause and effect of any diets alone in isolation because there is no way to do this experiment for the obvious reasons. Also we are all so individual and unique that if anyone is telling you that there is only one way of doing it you should run from him/her as far as possible. Do whatever works for you and makes you happy. Stay on top of your bloodwork. And IMHO don't push for one or another extreme and you will be alright. Key is to be able to put the fork down, which at this day of age, most have troubles with.
