Optimal PROGESTERONE for women on HRT ?

Hi. My mother started hrt recently (T injections 2x5mg/week. Estradiol patch 3.8mg (replace it every 7 days) and oral progesterone 100mg every day) She is 56 in menopause

Her labs on this protocol are T>> 116ng/dl 2 days after injection
e2>> 30 pg/ml Obvioosly she needs more E2, will swith to two patches instead of one.
progesterone>> 5.8 nmol/L


I can't find anywhere what dose of Progesterone is safe and what levels should she try to get with therapy ?
She is a doctor, but obviosly like many doctors that are not Anti-Aging orientated, they don't know anything about hormones. So, I would like to optimise her with your guidance.
Could you make a coment about this protocol ? Thanks

Tnx, Vince, but you know us here. We want optimal levels. Normal means nothing. Is there literature that shows optimal ratios regarding e2/progesterone. Justin Saya said in one of his old interviews, he likes to see 15-20 ratio of e2/p . I am curios what unit of measurement he used for that statement. E2 is pg/ml, but for P ? Maybe ng/ml ? Conversion calculator shows 5.8nmol/L= 1.8 ng/ml for progesterone

I missed it then. Could you help me with those threads ?
My mother is already better since starting this protocol 10 days ago.
Her endo was clueless and just put her on estradiol/progestin combo, even without testing the baseline... She got asthma in menopause and progestins almost killed her, she had bad side effects....
After that, I started to learn more and more about it, and as you know, I am here for 4+ years and with help of the community and learning and reading books, I managed to optimise myself, but I never learned about women HRT. But, now, I am more and more into it, because of my mother... It's more complicated, but I hope I will get her to 100% like I did to myself. Just have few doubts about progesterone and what is upper safe dose of it... Classic guidelines say>> 100mg of oral progesterone if used every day and 200mg every day if it's used only in luteal part of the cycle (last 15/28 days)

My wife takes 25 mg troche everynight. 50 is and is fine. Her main reason to take it was vaginal dryness. It solved that problem and her breasts became alive again as well. Sex is great. She is 54 post menopausal

From my understanding the purpose of Progesterone is to counter the risks of uterine cancer in women on estrogen. Does it have benefits as a stand alone therapy?

My wife is 55 years old 5ft 5in weighs 125 pounds and takes 150mg per night along with weekly estrogen patch and sleeps like a baby! If you take it away she is miserable. Some in their mid 30's can even benefit!

That is what my wife was told too. she has floated between 150-200mg of progesterone along with Test cream and estrogen patches. Drastic improvement in all aspects of daily life. I would encourage all guys to help their wives with this! They are always putting everyone in front of their needs.

When you say her breasts became alive again, are you referring to sensitivity?
