One blood donation crashed my Ferritin

I donated blood for the first time in 4 years because my hematocrit was 55.5
One week post donation my Ferritin came back at 27.2 -
Normal value: 22.0 - 322.0 ng/mL
Still considered normal, and I wish I knew what it was before the donation.
How bad will it be for my ferritin If I have to donate again in 2 months? My T dose was recently increased and HCG was added so I am anticipating another need to donate sooner rather than latter.

Ur not donating again in 2 months… final answer… if u do u can create havoc because ur iron will be super low which is very unhealthy…and it can cause horrible side effects in the loop and this can be a never ending cycle…

why did they increase the test dosage and add hcg??? Makes no sense if the iron is crashed and the hematocrit is 55.5…

Id look at different arb’s if u have high blood pressure such as telismartin, and or enalapril… ask the foc about those…

and talk to the doctor u will need a specific form of iron to bring that iron back up…

He switched me from 18mg text c every other day to 10mg daily, thinking the daily will help the HCT

My Hematocrit came back at 47 after I donated blood. He raised the dose slightly and added HCG and wants new labs in January but I may not wait that long. I’m thing late November just for my own peace of mind

Well wxpect a rebound effect after the iron reducing that much… which will drive ur thick blood back up… its a bad feedback loop of donating thats why either an arb (blood pressure med if needed) hydration and or hydration with nattokinase is recommended… but im not a doctor… so start with hydrating more… reduce viscosity… and cardio
