Good for you! That's on goal you can cross off your list.

Checkdis if it was me, I would start immediately taking a T3 med to reduce your high RT3. Yes it has fallen from 30 to 24 but it is still too high. According to this clinical study, high RT3 does cause hepatic cirrhosis which explains your high liver values. It also states that in patients with low T4, T3 and high RT3 "the mortality was high". I wouldn't wait on trying to naturally lower it:

RT3 goal is less than 15 but I have also read ideally it needs to be in single digits for your body to get adequate T3.

I’m still confused on what could be elevating my ALT, when I do not drink any alcohol or take Tylenol. Have not been working out hard/running. If anything I weigh 220LB at 6’ and I am Puerto Rican. Should be a smaller frame. I have been getting blood work for over a year now and my ALT ranges have been 50-80~. I am starting to become concerned about this. My bilirubin Has never been elevated and other liver tests seem to be within scope...

I have been taking milk thistle and NAC detox for the last month since this blood work, and I will be running everything again in October...

But should I be concerned? Is this because i’m over weight? At 220LB? Should I further investigate my ALT, possibly biopsy, CT scan...etc

I am seeing Defy Medical in October, I will bring this to their attention.

How should I treatment high RT3?

Defy would know they treated mine at 28.1 with T3 med Cytomel. Worked up to 25 mcg day 15 in am and 10 afternoons. In 2 months was down to 13.1. I would see if you can schedule earlier consult. Your liver values are not good.

No I know you are right they are not good, but also not crazy high for ALT. but the again I have had high ALT for over a year.

Has anyone had similar labs they could share with high RT3 and high ALT. and with treatment producing better numbers?

The basic issue is that it is the liver which affects the level of rT3, not the other way around. Additionally, it takes substantial liver damage to affect the levels of rT3 (the condition of cirrhosis is almost an end-stage condition in which most liver cells have been destroyed or are barely functioning: there is much scarring in the liver, which is the origin of the word, scirrhous...scarred).

From my interpretation of the article.
