I have heard a couple times recently that NAC supplementation can increase red blood cell count/elevate hematocrit. I searched to see what i could find and got this example....
N-acetylcysteine for the management of anemia and oxidative stress in hemodialysis patients - PubMed
Has anyone had their hematocrit levels checked when on and then off of NAC?
I thought it might be of relevance as many here take NAC and some of us do struggle with high HCT.
Has anyone read similar information?
