Thanks for reply dude, but I have done the abstain from porn and orgasm, even went aslong as 6-8 months without any orgasm. i'm only young once, I'm letting life go by

Been trying this and that for ages, my plan is to try trt.. if it doesn't work, stop

and then the penile implant

Have you consulted specialists. Not endos or urologists? Someone like the resident doc here. Or Keith Nichols. Or maybe find a doc who specializes in ED and has been published. Docs who articulate why and how they operate are the docs you want. The docs who just say “Ed doc Tampa Fl” on there site are not the docs you need.

You have to find someone who has taken the time to curate there practice around this issue and has spent the time looking for solutions. Maybe even someone who was in your shoes and fixed themselves. Like so many TRT docs have.

Not a clinic . A specialist of specialists. You can also find a doc who practices holistic medicine not sick care medicine.

Stopping trt is rash. It’s like saying “I took my car to the tire store to fix the wobble at high speeds, it didn’t work so I’m selling my car”. Yet you needed a new suspension and without tires the suspension was of no help.

Trt is needed for a healthy sex life it’s just not the only cure for ED. With optimal hormonal levels you create an environment that makes it easier for any professional to find a solution: without it you’ll never know if a combination of Trt + option b was the solution.

Your working with these sick care docs who don’t think outside the box. There trying to put you on meds, charge for tests and Surgeries. Your spinning your wheels. Follow my suggestion above: it’s gonna be tough but if there’s a will there is a way. Get after it.

are you familiar with NHS? there are no holistic or specialist of specialists, they work for NHS who do private work on side. they are robots

National health services. Is that a European thing? They do not have to be medically licensed professionals. There are plenty of folks out there with third party training.

For instance many folks with cancer have gone to India and have been cured. Sometimes it’s the journey that’s needed to find the cure and lasting health vs a quick fix. Jsut hang in there and dig dig dig and keep an open mind.

I think going to india for fix my ED might be a good idea in future, albeit a bit premature but I get what your saying

there are countless studies that show " free testosterone " is the correct diagnosis, and having high SHBG, means my free testosterone is low. TRT for 8-12 months will tell me whether this is truth or not, and no doctor can tell me otherwise. There are conflicting reports that show who is right, the proof is in the pudding so to speak

Just wanted to post on here for experiences on TRT and whether it helped a lot, little or nothing at all

Lol not saying indies. Just saying open your mind to options and ideas. Actually I wanted to clarify what I mean by sick care. It sounds like that’s what you’ve been dealing with... maybe not trt but the endos and urologists are not here to cure unfortunately.. I’m sure some do.. but it’s not how they make money.

The NHS is free though, they are against giving tests unless necessary and no meds, as i said, getting TRT on NHS or treatment is nigh on impossible

There’s no trt clinics in the uk?

sure, private ones.. ones that cost 300 pounds per visit, god knows how much for meds, and 200 pounds per bloodtest

or

I can source it myself, inject myself and get bloodtests via medichecks

you might say well then you will be under supervision of a doctor, most of the doctors don't even test SHBG, they aren't going to give two hoots about my high levels of SHBG

this is same country that only tests TSH rather than tsh, ft3 and ft4 when diagnosing a thyroid problem

Balance My Hormones is in Dorset, they offer telemedicine.

I emailed them. £65-150 a month for Test, not including HCG, and they send it to my door. £150 doctor consultation. No price on bloodtests

I can get a years worth for that, I know the spots

They seem like middlemen who will pass me onto doctors, which is nothing bad, but a doc will say yes high shbg is an issue, here is some TRT

I already Know its worth a try, I have it myself, I can inject it myself ( it will be nervy though ). The post on here is mainly to see if anything else has tried it

Test 23.1 [ 8 -31 ]
SHBG 55 [ 5-50 ]

free test isn't calculated
Calculated free T is about 10 ng/dL. Normal ranges are something like 5-21 ng/dL. From what I've seen this free T level is where some guys will start to have symptoms. This may or may not be part of your problem.

Have you tested estradiol? Free levels of this hormone are also suppressed by elevated SHBG. DHT? Prolactin?

I think it is reasonable to try TRT under the circumstances.

in england we don't have the sensitive estradiol test, just the normal one. it was normal range

I did trial aromasin once as I read it lowers shbg and increases free test, it did nothing.. I'm pretty sure my hair shedded like crazy on it

prolactin was just over range a few times, I did caber, nothing much

Forget Balance my hormones.

Try these, a paragon of professionalism when it comes to TRT:

Trt isn’t cheap. Blood tests hit the wallet hard. You get what you pay for though. The nhs is free so no wonder they won’t cover trt unless absolutely necessary. Pay a little more and you can get the care you want.
