Moved from 4ml Nebido, to Testosterone Cypionate

Hi men,

I was on Nebido for a few years, taking a 4ml (1000mg) vial every 8 weeks.
Was horrible up and downs.

Now I've moved to Testosterone Cypionate, 2 injections weekly at 80mg x 2, total test weekly is 160mg.

I've just started it so hope I get to feel better soon.

My haemotcrit was 54, and BP 140/97
suffering tension band headaches,

I've just donated pint blood 2 weeks ago so hoping haemotcrit and BP drops, I'm thinking the high haemotcrit or more so high BP might be causing my tension band headaches.

Gonna have a blood test this week to see of both dropped

Any advice on the above, and being on test C 160mg weekly

Thanks guys, from ireland

These are my results BEFORE donating blood and BEFORE starting testosterone Cypionate

TRT doc says next bloods should look a lot more normal having donated

That’s more than likely going to be an overdose. Get out of the mentality that more is better. Try 50 mg twice weekly.

I don’t know how you hope to manage your hematocrit and hemoglobin on TRT. If you’re thinking, donation is going to fix the problem you’ll be sorely mistaken.

If you suffer from poor sleep, you need a sleep study before starting TRT.

I will immediately take your advice and drop to 50 mg twice a week, its my TRT doc who started me on 80mg twice week, which o felt was little high.

Can I ask you, when I drop to 50mg twice week, hopefully that will be fine, but regarding haemotcrit and BP, if donations won't sort it, what will, or maybe at 50mg twice week will sort it ? Yes

Thanks bro

Also my endocrinologist, just told me right now, that he put me on a starting dose of 80mg twice week just as a loading dose, seen as my testosterone was at 346 ng/dl before starting Cypionate and was going to lower it in few weeks, but now cos I'm complaining of tension band headaches he told me go down to 50mg twice week immediately, so as of this week I'm.down to 50mg twice week

This is retarded, whenever you change the dosage it’s 4 to 6 weeks to steady blood levels, so by changing the dose in a few weeks, it resets the time to reaching a steady state.

The body likes consistency, dosing should be evenly spaced apart and the same dosage.

There’s a reason why I asked you if you had sleep problems, so unless you can find out why your hematocrit is elevated and address it, you won’t be able to control it onto TRT.

You need to find out why your baseline hematocrit value is so high because TRT can exacerbate certain underlining conditions.

I’m surprised at how reckless your endocrinologist was in starting you out at a high dosage given your already very high hematocrit value!
