29 years old teated due to low T symptoms (fatigue, weak erections, low sex drive, not always having morning wood). No medical problems and not overweight.

FSH 1.4
LH 7.4
SHBG 25.0
Total T 553
Free T 129.5 pg/ml
Albumin 4.7

Doctor would not treat. Wants to check thyroid. If that is normal should I get treated based on the symptoms.

You do have medical problems or you wouldn't be having these symptoms so early in life. There are a lot of medicine conditions (low cortisol/adrenal fatigue) that can cause symptoms mimicking low-T. Thyroid problems is doubtful given you're not overweight or have low SHBG.

Full list of supplements, if any you're taking.

Do you take antidepressants (SSRI's)?

How's your sleep quality?

No medicine or supplements. Sleep varies, could be better but even after sleep 8 hours symptoms are the same.
You don't give up much information and that doesn't gives us anywhere to go. Nothing mentioned about your diet/lifestyle. This is where mainstream medical doctors are practically useless. These symptoms of yours aren't specific to one disease and many doctors aren't good at troubleshooting.

They just randomly check stuff hoping to catch a lab value out of range which has more do do with luck rather than know where to go based on possessing medical knowledge.

The American diet was meant to put you in an American hospital for American healthcare so you can buy the American drugs.

A vitamin or mineral deficiency could cause all of your symptoms.

Are you a vegan?

Sorry, not vegan. Don’t eat terrible I don’t feel like. A decent amount of chicken. Probably could eat more vegetables. I can try taking a multivitamin. I am active. When I put my numbers into a free testosterone calculator it shows 13. I heard it should be 20-30, should I push for TRT or keep exploring other causes? I’m not worried about fertility.

For a natty blood work needs to be done in the early am in a fasted state.

Even then looking over your lab results you are hitting a descent TT 553 ng/dL and with a lowish SHBG 25 nmol/L your FT would be descent and far from low!

A FT 5 ng/dL is low and 5-9 ng/dL would be the grey zone for some!

What method was used for testing your FT?

If we calculate your FT using the linear law-of-mass action Vermeulen (cFTV) with a descent TT 553 ng/dL, lowish SHBG 25 nmol/L and Albumin 4.7 g/dL your FT 13 ng/dL would be healthy!

Most healthy young males would be hitting a cFTV 13-15 ng/dL.

You can always retest to compare your results.

Yes some of the symptoms you mentioned would be caused by a low/borderline FT but many other things can also mimic such (dysfunction thyroid/adrenals), depression/anxiety, excess stress (physical/mental), lack of consistent quality sleep, poor diet/low iron, overtraining in the gym) you get the point!

You heard wrong. The normal range for Vermeulen calculated free testosterone is about 7-22 ng/dL, with 13-17 being typical for healthy young men. I've never encountered anyone who is genuinely hypogonadal with cFTV greater than 10 ng/dL. You could be that rare exception, but it's more likely that low testosterone is not the cause of your problems. Do have thyroid checked. There can be overlapping symptoms.

Whoever told you a natty male needs to have a FT 20-30 ng/dL is clearly out to lunch!

Pure nonsense pushed by the knumbskulls stinking up those so called men's health/HRT forums!

Look over where the 50th percentile healthy young males sit whether using the most accurate assays for testing free testosterone the gold standard Equilibrium Dialysis current state-of-the-art ED method (higher order reference method) or the go to calculated linear law-of-mass action Vermeulen (cFTV).

Far cry from 20 let alone 30 ng/dL!

Look over my reply in post #23 it's an eye opener for most!

What do you have against red meat my friend?

Chicken is too lean in fat to sustain you. I'm not seeing a healthy amount of animal fat in your diet. Big mistake!

Humans are Apex predators, top of the food chain. Most of the animals that eat primarily meat are at the top of the food chain. You're not eating like Apex predator.

You can clearly see what happened to the fossil record before and after the agricultural revolution. Humans became 5 inches shorter, started getting crooked teeth, smaller skulls, mouths and men lost 13% brain size and woman 17%.

All of this happened overnight in the geological record all around the world.

Your body either runs on carbs or fat. I don't see much of either in your diet, you're hardly eating enough animal fat. Some people might be able to get away with lower fat in their, others it's detrimental to their health and must have plenty of animal fat in their diet.
