L-Leucine & B6 for fat loss!

Leucine is one of my favorite muscle building supplements. It is an unsung hero. It activates the protein- mTOR, which turns on muscle protein synthesis (MPS). Valine, and isoluecine, the other BCAAs semm to also activate mTOR, but to a lesser degree. HMB, which is a metabolite of Leucine is not as powerful at stimulating MPS, but is better at preserving lean mass while in a calorie deficient (cutting). Studies on leucine where leucine was added to the diet or to a test meal, show increased MPS after test meals. Whether this results in more muscle is not as clear, but you'd have to imagine that it is quite possible.
