I agree. The Mediterranean Diet is good IF you're not diabetic and carbs are causing issues. The Med.Diet includes alot of great veggies and fruits and of course nothing processed. A simple side dish of carrots or beets (love them) can spike my blood sugar way too high. A banana can almost triple my blood sugar within 75 minutes. I've checked that. So keto or very low carb is best for me. Your mileage may vary.There is so many conflicting opinions. One will say, that the Keto died is great, other's say it's too carb restrictive and causes other health issues. (Like the Atkins diet)
To me, the Mediterranean diet makes sense. Eliminates processed food and excess sugar, without cutting out any particular food group. Just my two cents.
