This works great for insulin syringes. Very easy and seems very safe. It seems like it must hold a zillion needle tips as I have yet to fill one up.

Yes - I've been using that BD Safe-Clip. It's pretty cool. Then I just toss the syringes out with the trash. (I still put them in some container so none poke through the trash bag).

I just bought one myself and I really like it. It's really small and simple to use, not to mention cheap! It fits perfectly in my medicine chest I keep all my supplies in. The device says it stores 1,500 needles and I can only guess how many clipped, 1cc syringes fit in a 4lb empty protein tub. I'm sure this solution is going to take me years until I have to buy another one or use a new tub.
