You can aspirate with the syringe if you wish, is pretty easy to aspirate on the thigh. Most men on trt don't aspirate.

Yes after you stick the needle in your thigh you pull back on the syringe and look for blood. You don't have to pull back very far. No blood then inject.

What can happen if you hit a vein, fatal? And are there areas with veins in the thigh?

If you inject in a vein or artery the oil from the testosterone vial will pool in your lung. You will continue coughing until you cough it out of your lung. You will survive but I believe it is painful. I've been injecting testosterone now for almost 4 years I've tried aspirating a few times but very few times. I just inject in my shoulders and VG.

Wow that's scary. Based on the thigh picture and instructions I look at my knee and draw a line from the middle of the knee all the way up the thigh and inject right midline? Outer or middle thigh is ok?

Well I did my first shot on Sunday. While I had to psych myself out it was painless will the 25g 5/8 in the thigh. Im sure Wednesday it will be easier lol.

To clarify. I called my doctor and instead of 50 mg twice a week. She wants me on 100mg twice a week. I was confused on the dosage because in the office I thought it was 100 weekly but its not. Is 200 weekly a lot?

Yikes...with your low SHBG that might a bit over the top. Guess you will find out?

I was on 200mg daily on the compounded cream but I'm sure the dosing is different with shots.

200 mg a week is a huge dose for someone just going on injections and in your original post you stated that your SHBG is only 15. You should be on ED or EOD injections at a low dose of testosterone.

I know you said earlier you only want to inject once a week and might do twice a week. That sounds like the poor advice you are getting from your doctor.

We are trying to help you but you have not provided any lab information other than what your SHBG is; No testosterone lab results, no estradiol sensitive............

With such low SHBG you you are going to have huge Free Testosterone and huge Free Estradiol. This is not a recipe for success.

Your only shot at feeling normal again is injections EOD or everyday, low SHBG men don't usually do well on twice weekly injections let alone once weekly. My SHBG is 16 and on twice weekly the estrogen was too much for me, smaller more frequent dosing is the only way to go for a low SHBG man.

It's apparent your doctor believes that 200mg compounded cream is the same as 200mg on injections, what she is failing to realize is that compounded cream isn't 100% absorbed, however injections are 100% absorbed.

You will find most doctors are TRT ignorant.

My e2 sensitive is 27 and testosterone on cream 778 or so. I think I'll be honest with her and continue my 50mg on Wednesday and Sundays.

Your doctor should be glad that you are willing to take it slow. This way you can gradually move your dose upward depending on how you feel once you reach a steady state after 6 weeks. I think you will be much better off this way, but it's your call Whatzup.

I'll definitely continue at 50mg twice weekly. Yes I know EOD or everyday may be better but I want to first use this as a trial twice a week and see what my first set of labs show.

Infrequent shots will see Free T drop dramatically over the course of just 2-3 days, over time these fluctuations will get bigger and you will feel less relief with each injection. Your ability to hold onto testosterone is less than that of a man with high SHBG, SHBG scavenges sex hormones and your SHBG is low, so your SHBG isn't soaking up much testosterone requiring frequent injections.

No this is not true. These myths have been debunked.
