I'm 41 and started TRT Novemeber 2016. Currently on Test. Cyp. (IM) and HCG (SQ) every other day and 25 mg DHEA twice daily (From Defy). I have an appointment in July. Just had blood work and have some questions.
Here are the highlights.
T total = 932 (up from ~200 pre-TRT, feeling much better!)
T-free = 37.8 (High)
DHEA= 418.5 (High)
Estradiol = 33.3
SHBG = 13.8 (Low)
RBC = 5.84 (High - has not been high before)
MHC = 25.2 (Low - has not been low before)
Hematocrit = 46.6
TSH = 4.680 (High - was high last time)
HDL = 23 (Low - need to remember fish oil!
Questions:
1. What gives with the RBC and MHC?
2. Is DHEA ok being high, or can that be a problem?
3. Is T-free being high a problem? Is it because my SHBG so low?
In general I feel pretty good, so much better than before I started. My erections still tend to wimp out during sex, but I'm have increased cialis and started citrulline. Not sure about going for the full NO stack, but was told in another post that it would be worth a look. When they take blood they have always had a hard time finding a vein so maybe I am not a great NO producer or something.
Excel Male rocks!

Roche ECLIA methodology. . According to the American Urological Association, Serum PSA should decrease and remain at undetectable levels after radical prostatectomy. The AUA defines biochemical recurrence as an initial PSA value 0.2 ng/mL or greater followed by a subsequent confirmatory PSA value 0.2 ng/mL or greater. Values obtained with different assay methods or kits cannot be used interchangeably. Results cannot be interpreted as absolute evidence of the presence or absence of malignant disease.Sex Horm Binding Glob, Serum
