Hi all,
I am a 33 year old male with azoospermia not attributed to trt. It was most likely caused by years of alcohol abuse (6 + years sober now).
My test levels were under 100 and LH, FSH both under 1. My urologist tried me on clomid for awhile and it actually bought my T down to 10 with no effect on LH and FSH. I had an MRI of pituitary which came back negative.
My question is, do you think I have any hope of producing sperm by implementing some sort of hcg/hmg protocol either with or without my trt? I see a lot of info about hcg PRESERVING fertility when run concurrently to TRT, but not much about its effects if men who were azoo prior to starting trt.
I am using the bare minimum of test right now to have some sort of quality of life (last bloods came back at 495..one pump of fortesta to each thigh daily). I would like to continue if possible but am willing to stop if necessary.
all other blood levels were in range...had full hormone panel (except estradiol which is weird...will ask doc tomorrow).
Any help is appreciated.
Rich
