I recently posted that my Dr. changed my protocol to 3x/week HCG and 2x week T (split/half dose of T). I've lost almost 10lbs since the change? Is this a direct result of increased HCG?
How much time elapsed between the protocol change and the loss of the weight?I recently posted that my Dr. changed my protocol to 3x/week HCG and 2x week T (split/half dose of T). I've lost almost 10lbs since the change? Is this a direct result of increased HCG?
Lots of people lose weight with HCG... that's what the so called HCG diet is all about. However it doesn't have this effect on everyone. I would assume it's because some have near normal levels of LH and do not need HCG whereas someone like myself who has very low LH, HCG benefits those. Everytime I stop HCG I gain 10 Lbs and vice versa.
Don't agree.. HCG is mainly about taking HCG and no particular diet is associated with taking HCG. My eating habits do not change yet taking HCG will lose me 10 Lbs all the time.
Just google "HCG diet," it's a really big thing. HCG is also only promoted as a weight-loss agent in females, even though there is no clinical evidence suggesting that it has that effect. If it DID work and I had to take an educated guess as to why, I would imagine that it simulates some sort of nutrient partitioning effect associated with pregnancy. Nonetheless, it does not cause weight loss in and of itself.
