Hi Nelson,

It is my honor to be your member. Thank u for give us valuable and helpful advices & tips to guys like me.
Now i wanna share my problem with you. Please help me!!

When i was 12, i was very fit like any other kid, but due to overeating, less physical activity and poor nutrition i got the issue of hormone imbalance (got love handles and gynecomastia. I couldn't understand what happened to me suddenly. Then..When i entered into college i started exercises (cardio and weight training) with proper diet. I have been exercising for the last 12-13 years and i have tried everything i.e cardio, weight training, metabolic resistance training, high protein diet etc..etc..etc.. but i got some minor changes only. Few months back, i checked my testosterone level.Its too low (396 ng/dl). My Estrogen is also high. I have tried High fat diet, take multi-vitamins, Compound Exercise, Sprint and take good quality sleep to increase my Testosterone level naturally. But it didn't work. An endocrinologist suggest me to do TRT (Test. Gel). I really wanna do that. But i m confused and scared due to its side effects (Gynecomastia, Low libido, low sperm count etc.)

Should I go with It?? Will it be worked? Pls suggest me.

To be fit and lean is became my dream now. I need ur advice and tips.
I have also tested my Thyoid Panel, FSH, LH, PRL, E2 (Oestrogen/Estradiol). I am mentioning my details along with my tests.

Age is 33.
Weight is 70 kg.
Height is 174 cms.
Body fat percentage is 24.

Testosterone (Total) = 396 ng/dl
Testosterone (Free) = 15.2 pg/ml
E2 (Estradiol/Oestrogen) = 40.5 pg/ml
FSH = 4.18 mIU/ml
LH = 1.9 mIU/ml
PRL = 4.35 ng/ml
T3 = 122 ng/dl
T4 = 8.6 ug/dl
TSH = 2.87 uIU/dl

Pls reply...

Main question: How are your sex drive and erections?
You are young and your testosterone could probably (I say probably) be raised naturally to levels above 500 ng/dL.

Hi Nelson!!
Thanks for reply ...:)
But I wanna share one more thing to u, which i had forgotten to tell u (sorry for that). I did TRT once 4 yrs back. In Aug 2010, i felt depression, mood swings, anger, lack of energy, zero muscle gain through weight training, joints pain, fatigue etc. I consulted an endocrinologist and did some blood work. At that time my total testosterone level was 270 ng/dl and free testosterone was 10 pg/ml. My estrogen level was normal around 22 pg /ml. He prescribed me TRT in the form of Injections. I took Testoviron Depot 250 twice in a month for a year (no HCG treatment). He also prescribed me tamoxifen citrate doses to prevent gynecomastia. After taking TRT, i saw some positive and negative changes both. My muscle mass and strength increased, felt more energetic and happy but also face negative side effects like low sperm count and erectile dysfunction temporarily. Well i overcame this negative effects. But after stopping TRT, my muscle mass dropped. Again i am feeling fatigue (even after proper sleep), joints pain, muscular pain, depression, anger, lack of energy etc.

Right Now, My libido is good and haven't problem of erections and sperm count.

The main reason to want TRT is that i am a fitness instructor in a gym. I have to be in a good shape always. Today, i am in a bad shape which is very frustrating. It is effecting my job, career and self esteem as well.

Now My current Endocrinologist is better. He want to prescribed me T. gel. He says it is more safe than injections and has less side effects. But before TRT I want to do some home work, and this is right place to do this and u r the right guy to advice me.

I am ready for everything; Test boosters, TRT or boost naturally. So please give me advice or suggestion. I hope u r understand my problem.

Waiting for reply. Thanks

Thanks for reply nelson..

Well, I stopped TRT because that endocrinologist shifted to another city and he couldn't attend me properly. I was not satisfied with his attention and advices, what he gave me. And at that time i hadn't knowledge and information regarding TRT. Now i decided to do it again but this time safely. I don't think, i can raise my T. level naturally to built muscle. I don't smoke. I don't drink. Take healthy foods. Do exercise but still have low T. This is very frustrating.

I have read an article of one of the top fitness guru (will brink), he says that men should have at least 800-1200 ng/dl of T. level to built muscle. Below 800 is not optimal to built muscle. That's why, i decided to go with TRT. I am married but not family planning for at least 6 months. I know, TRT is risky if u want to be father. But i have no option. Its about my health, fitness, self esteem and career as well. Please Help!!

Thanks

I understand now.

You can preserve fertility with testosterone + HCG.

Since you have made your mind up about TRT, talk to your doctor about testosterone injections (cypionate or enanthate) of 100-200 mg per week and test your total and free T, estradiol via ultrasensitive and general chemistries at week 6 or 8. Some men like to inject smaller doses of 50-100 mg twice per week using a 27 gauge 1/2 inch insulin syringe subcutaneously or as shallow intramuscular injection.

Please read these stickies:

Testosterone Side Effect Management Table

Thanks for reply sir,
I have an appointment with my doctor on this Saturday (16 August 2014). I will tell about ur suggestions. But you didn't mentiond HCG doses. Please tell me. And as i said my current doctor told me to TRT through Gels. He told me, gels have less side effects. Is there any problem to take gels instead of Injections.

Plz Reply

Thanks

Thanks a lot nelson !!
Thanks for reply!!

One more thing, as i said at present my estrogen level is high (40.5 pg/ml). During TRT, is it safe to take it with high estrogen. You didn't mentioned any drug to low or block estrogen level. I have read the article "Testosterone Side Effect Management Table" . In this article, i have read about Arimidex. It seems it is more safe than nolvadex (which i took 4 yrs ago with TRT).

And your book "Testosterone- A man's Guide" is available in Amazon.in (Amazon Indian Online Store). I want to buy it.
But before i buy, i want to know it's contents. And Kindly tell me this book is beneficial for me or not ??

Kindly reply

Thanks & Regards

Ashish

The book is about testosterone replacement therapy and the benefits thereof for men, thus a "man's guide". Nelson has been quite generous with being active in your thread. Maybe consider just buying the book as a gesture of appreciation, without having him spend more time trying to convince you on it. You said "I want to buy it" .. Just do it.

I can understand that but my intention was not trying him to convince me to buy book. India has lack of talent in TRT/HRT field. That's why to get right information and advice, i sent threads to him and i have got so much.

Thanks

Ashish
