Going on a cruise....

So, I'm leaving on a cruise next week. This will be the first since being on TRT. Anything special that I need to do in order to bring my Test and syringes on board?

It's only a 7 day cruise, but I inject 25mgs every 3.5 days...

Since you don't have to keep it cold, just carry the vial, with an Rx label on it, and a few syringes, in your carry on. When you get to your room, ask the steward for a sharps container. You can also just carry prefilled syringes, I have done that also without a problem ever. Just like with flying, I always carry all my meds in in my carry on. I have been on a fair amount of cruises, and my luggage has always made it quickly to the room, but why take a risk? Never been questioned about drugs, the cruise will have a decent amount of diabetics on it, so they are used to sharps.

Yeah, I'm also on 250 IU's of HCG EOD, but I figure won't be a big deal to leave the HCG at home for that week. It would probably be much more of a hassle to bring it with....

I agree on the Hcg, but bringing it along on a longer vacation or cruise is not a huge issue. I was on a longer cruise to South and Central America, and just brought along a small ice cooler type backpack. When I unloaded everything from the bag to the cabin refrig I then had a bag to carry cold water when we were off the ship.

In all my years crossing borders, it was only going into Russia that I had a problem. I was carrying a letter from my doctor on all my trips (she issues a new one very six months) and that cleared up the matter. But a cruise should be no problem. All the best.

The benefit of a cruise is, that is where you live,on the ship, regardless of what country you visit. So, no going thru customs and having them inspect your bag, for legal/illegal drugs.
