Free testosterone results interpretation

Hi guys,

I have all the main low testosterone symtoms. I am 29 years old.

My lab results for T are:

Total T: 13,90 nmol/L
Free T: 48,5 pmol/L (my lab's range for adult men: 30,15 - 189,8 pmol/L)

As I understand, total T is below average, but not extremely low. What about the free T? How do you interpret it?

Thank you in advance!

Post all of your labs with ranges and your symptoms.

Thank you, I will as soon as I'm home again.

For now I'm just trying to figure out the logic behind my Free T number, since it seems that almost no one is posting them with these values (pmol/L). I'm trying to figure out if 48,5 is really low or low-normal number for Free T.

The Free T is near the bottom of the ranges, so that's problematic on its own. Normal ranges aren't very useful, they have sick people near the bottom of the ranges that got caught up in the normal ranges.
