Finally passed the screening and was able to donate blood

After being rejected twice due to high blood pressure I finally manged to donate a pint of blood. What can I expect in reduction of Hemo and Hema?
Last blood draw I had 0,55L/L Hematocrit and 18,20g/dL Hemoglobine.

HCT reduction from whole blood donation should be a 3 point reduction.

I guess I´ll need to donate two times more this year since it still high.

Double red donations work better for reducing Hematocrit levels, should be a 6 point reduction.

It may drop 6 points but takes three times longer (1.5hrs according to my blood bank) and you can only do it every 16 weeks so by the math you're not coming out ahead over time with a double red.

Thx both Vince! I´m allowed to donated every third month so I will go ahead with only normal 1 pint donation each time.

I didn't know high blood pressure stopped someone from donating blood. I wonder why?
