Guys

If my E2 is 45.7 and I lower this by using an AI, would it be correct to assume that as my E2 lowers, my Free T and Total T would rise?

The conversion rate of testosterone to estradiol is around 0.2%. Unless you are not on TRT, testosterone does not increase much when anastrozole is added to TRT.

ECLIA Method. short for Electrochemiluminescent Immunoassay. It's a fast and affordable method to measure total testosterone and estradiol in your blood. Many labs use this method because it's automatic and doesn't require too much work on a lab technician's part. However, some studies have shown that values obtained with ECLIA are significantly higher compared to the more reliable LC/MS method.

LC/MS Method. LC/MS is short for liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. It's considered the gold standard method by many researchers in measuring small molecules. Its accuracy and consistency is why the CDC is recommending LC/MS to be the standard method used when testing total testosterone and estradiol. While it's more accurate and sensitive, the LC/MS method is more expensive than ECLIA. And it takes a bit longer to get your results. Test number:
Estradiol, LCMS, Endo Sci
Labcorp test# 500108

My blood work in April gave me a reading of 1800 on testosterone and a 92! on estradiol. High numbers I know. I'm ready to just start over from scratch and get this thing working for me. I mentioned HCG to my doc but he has not yet given me a script for it. He said he would address this in July. Should there be an urgency to address this sooner? I'm injecting myself twice a week with 1/2 cc of testosterone cypionate. So obviously, the testosterone is converting into estrogen and probably should be lowered. I would hope that HCG would help too if keeping the same level of testosterone injection. In any case I need to have my homework done to counter my docs ignorance on the subject. Otherwise I need to see a hormonal specialist. I don't pretend to have the knowledge that you all have on this .. however I don't think the docs are well educated on this subject. I've been seeing this doc for over 12 years now and we have a good relationship.

Not at all familiar with how to do this .. I don't see where I can start a thread. Not intentional of course my apologies.

Go to the main forum page. Click on Testosterone Q&A when in the forum at the top there is a button that says "Start a New Thread" it's that easy.
