Tested before starting HCG.
Tested after starting HCG
Tested with HCG after applying TD cream (my mistake but re-tested a few days later with no TD applied
Tested with HCG again before applying my TD cream.
Tested with HCG and NO AI and before applying any TD cream.
The swing with E2 is significant.
Basically same labs drawn on 3-26-2015 as far as TT, FT and E2.
New Years present to my self was additional labs on 1-15-2016.
2 variables are HCG and an AI.
Did find the range for DHT. It was in reeeeeeealy small print....
And I missed it.

One variable that I did not address was the use of finisteride. My DR had me on 5 mg to lower my DHT. I cut it down to 2.5mg based on the post on the negative impacts of it. Recently stopped taking it prior to last labs.

Original question was "Does HCG lower E2".
Maybe the question needs to be "Does HIGH DHT have a negative (lowering) impact on E2?
CLEARLY something has my E2 acting strange???????

I have read that in some men, high DHT can oppose (lower E2) but I cannot seem to find the study at the moment. You may be better off with injections than the topical T you are using. Less conversion to DHT that way and no need to take Finasteride - which has a truly nasty side effect profile.

I stopped the Finisteride.
My TD cream is less than a 1/4 teaspoon ( 1/2ml) so I am only applying it to a small area (2 or 3 inch circle) under one arm.

Wow - that is amazing. Guys that get a lot of DHT often use the low % creme that they have to spread over a large amount of skin daily.

100mg/0.5ml compounded from EmpowerRX. They make a 200mg/ml at 4 clicks and I only use 2 clicks (1 click = 1/4 ml). Works reeeeealy well for me

There is certainly the possibility here that the TD cream is resulting in too high DHT, and at that extreme high level the DHT is holding down, even suppressing, your E levels. Interesting.

My sensitive E2 tests from Labcorp over the last few months have also been illogically low. I am on 1/2cc twice per week and my latest was trough 8.4 and peak 10.3 after being off AI for 5 weeks. I'm not going to hijack your thread, just pointing out that if more people have very low E2 readings, maybe someone at Labcorp isn't running the machine right.
