My urologist only tested LH and prolactin and feels that the issue "is probably with your testicles." It seems like from everything I've read FSH needs to be tested along with LH. Are LH and Prolactin enough to determine that I do indeed have primary?
LH: 2.5 Range: .08-7.6
Prolactin: 7.8 Range: 2.5-17.0
TT: 235 Range: 270-1,734
The tests above were all done in house at the urology clinic.
My TT and FT from my primary (who uses the hospitals lab) were
TT: 194 Range: 332-896 <---3 p.m.
TT: 172 Range: 332-896 <----morning
FT: 8 Range: 4.3-30.4 <-----morning
Needless to say I don't like my current urologist and will be seeking out another option. He does not allow self injections so he prescribed me Androgel at one pump a day with a follow up in 8 weeks.
