Do higher test levels not always equal a better libido?

Higher test levels do not always equal better libido. My libido was off the charts with a TT in the low 200's pre TRT. For me, the #1 influencer of strong libido is body weight. Both my blood pressure and libido will rise and fall with my weight. Regardless of testosterone levels.

Just curious, when you lost weight, was it because you were trying to lose weight, or did it just happen on its own?

It happened because I was trying to lose weight. I changed my diet and consistently exercised. And I misread the original question. My libido does change when I gain and lose weight, but what changes the most is the quality of my erections.

Oh ok, thanks. Been doing a lot of research on the thyroid lately, and didn’t realize it has a HUGE impact on libido and erection quality. I had no idea. And metabolism is almost entirely controlled by the thyroid. So if you were losing weight randomly, I was thinking maybe your thyroid was improving, and therefore helping with libido and erecting quality.
